The depth will be fixed at WR with quality. That would be the ideal group.


If one doesn't come from that group. Would like to dig into inquiring for Carmoni Green or Mike Harley to replace that spot.

(I really like Darrian Felix as an ATH type from Fort Myers. Could be a star at WR or CB at the next level. Throw him into the discussion if he ends up a WR)


As D$ mentioned. Jeudy will be hard to get. He's a heavy Bama lean. Alabama is selling him on taking over for Ridley once he leaves. Very close friends with Ridley and SBB since they were at Monarch.


As for Grimes. Really hope they do not waste the resources. He's a take for sure, yes, but he's NOT coming. He is OSUs to lose by tons of miles. He is originally from Indiana.


We have a way better shot of convincing Jeudy than Grimes and it's still not likely.

Would like that group, but want Jeudy! The only way we truly "get back" is by keeping the elite gamebreakers home! Need the Cooks, Ridley's and Coopers most of all

I would put Allen up with those. His size/Speed/Quickness combo is striking.

Does Jeudy want to play WR or CB?

Haven't seen any of these young men play in purpose but if we are going by highlights and film Quantino Allen was the most impressive. Him along with Rodney Scott. Very impressed.

Wanted to mention in here. Idk if [MENTION=2]DMoney[/MENTION] has come across this kid. He was the #1 player from Canada and he transferred in to STA.

I was told about him about a month or two months ago by SFE staffer.

Joshua Palmer, he's on the SFE team. Still gotta see him in game action down here this season. But he is the big time sleeper in the group of WRs down here. He can be one of the best from what I've been told and the few things I've seen so far. I've heard we have no chance at all but it's definitely worth a look this season. Michigan is already on him.


As for STA and their receiver core. I really think the best one might be Elijah Moore who I've been super high on since last spring. (2018 kid, plays for Florida Fire. He transferred in from Western a few weeks ago)

There's no way I'd take Scott over Henley, Landers, or any number of other receivers we've already offered, but maybe that's just me.

I really don't see what some others do when it comes to Scott. The first catch in his junior highlights was jaw-dropping, but if you get past that play he looks slow for someone with average measurables for the position (listed at just 6'0", 167 pounds by 247 Sports). He can high-point effectively, but there's little burst or long speed. Minimal production, too, with just 21 catches, < 13 YPC, 2 TDs as a junior.

Not directing this comment at you or anyone in particular, but generally speaking I think he's this cycle's version of Freddie Pinder as someone being overhyped on this board because he's perceived as an early Miami lean.

I mentioned this before but Scott was actually hurt most of his junior and missed most of the games this past season. Kind of like a Robert Burns deal, no point in watching the junior film because he missed most of it.

I've been told he's actually one of the best if not the heart and soul of Southridge track team. He's more of deceptive speed, extreme agile and top notch body control and hands. Weight room will do kid wonders at next level.


I am actually not that high on Henley as others but that's just my opinion. He's a safe pick yeah, but nothing eye popping for me.


Landers I like very much and hope we go after him but I'm on the assume train of that he won't be here. I'm fine with that. I was told that he's not as big as he is actually listed. More closer to 6'3".



Staff needs to make Darrian Felix a priority as I mentioned earlier in thread! I've been high on him for over a year now and he continues to prove why. 120 sparq score. IDC if he wants to be a WR or CB. You take him if he wants in, regardless of who you have. Probably the most underrated prospect at this moment in the state. IMO
 
Jeudy & Felix are two ATH guys that regardless of who you have. You make room if they want in.

You can see that he's underdeveloped. I think they have him listed at 167 pounds on 247. Once he gets to 180, you'll see a completely different level of explosion to him. Sorta reminds me of Tavarres King from UGA a couple years ago. He'll have an opportunity to develop as well, because we're currently stacked at WR.

We need to finish with Dingle, Jeudy, Harley, and a bigger body guy like Trey Blount or Matt Landers....least likely options are James Robinson or Grimes

Quite frankly he shouldn't be a top priority, but I thought the same thing with Scott so I guess we shall see.
