As a former high school kicker, I can say that his highlights show great directional punting on rugby style kicks. Has incredible hangtime on standard punts in practice but either didn’t want to, or was not asked to do standard punts in games. Would like to see a standard punt in a live game. This will be an enormous improvement over our current situation which ever style he is asked to use for us.

Let's not forget that with our new offense that Enos runs, we might not need to count on the punter as much as we did the last several years.

With that said, welcome to the U.

So based on Stefan's post, is it correct then that he has three years of eligibility left?

As nice a person Mark Richt is and as much as I like him as a decent man, he left the team with a few alarming deficiencies, special teams was a glaring one of them. Just couldn't figure out how he left QB room, OL and special teams in such disarray.

The rugby/ARL punters are very difficult to block, even with protection breakdown, given their experience with short stroke kicks on the run and in heavy traffic. You can see his style throughout the video and he still gets solid distance on them. I think his booming windup might be a bit long, but that can be coached out.

Louie Louie can help take some unnecessary pressure off the D that they simply shouldn't have faced last season.

Also, don't discount for D's having to account for him in some way as a runner.

We better see a dramatic improvement in this phasr of play for the 2019 season.

Everyone looks good in highlights. That's why they get posted. I wish that they would make a "lowlights" clip for kickers/punters. I want to see when and where they ***** the pooch. Something has to account for that 38.6 average.

1) his accuracy was an important tool, so they asked him to place a bit more inside the 15 than most

2) kicking on JUCO fields in NorCal..its always cold and windy, so I suspect that costs him a few yards in average

With his supposed pedigree, he should be EASILY in mid 40s on average. We really better see a 70-80 yard boomer at least a few times in the season. Also, he should be able to put the ball out of play at the 10 or less consistently.

He said he now kicks em 70 yards sometimes but I believe he said 45-50 is norm w 1 sec hang time per 10 yards...paraphrase based on my memory
