To be fair to me, there’s not actually a fan base that likes him.
Except those of teams going against him.
We will see what other coaches join but coming off a brutal season Mario purged a good portion of the roster, closed on a top 10 class, picked up some solid portal additions, and brought in two solid coordinators. More portal casualties and additions to come I'm sure.

That was something Feldman mentioned too. He's evolved a lot in his creativity in the run game.
Yessir we tried to get him to come to UM last year, hindsight I’m glad he stayed he had 2 killer seasons at UH.

This is a great hire. Mario deserves credit for proving everyone wrong. He owned his mistakes and adapted quickly.

Much like Josh Gattis was never going to be successful here... Dawson was never going to be successful there.
I'm just happy Mario showed he's going to run something different than he's always run.
