Beck has proven it's ok, if not optimal, to miss Spring. Also, Leavitt will at least be able to throw, won't he? Beck had a shoulder injury.
And it looks like the early schedule won't be as hard as it was this season -- I.e., leading off with ND...
And Hanna Cavinder thought the same thing about Beck.
Can he play football better than Emory Williams is the real question here?
I'm sure he can but you don't want a locker room cancer either. There are a few more options.

Dude looks more Miami than any other qb we’re looking at. Looks more Miami than any other school he is looking at.

I do not like Leavitt because he is a big step down in passing efficiency over Cam and Beck with intermediate throws. That's the scouting report. He's a bit inconsistent. Our passing game will take a step back, most likely. I've probably said it too many times.
Objectively, the guy did win with a power run game as someone said. He's definitely a playmaker and runner. Probably the best thing about him is low INT's. Maybe the guy takes a big step forward like Nix did at Oregon.

All good points. I don't think missing the Spring is the be all and end all, but it isn't ideal.
