Auburn assistant coach Trooper Taylor


Auburn football, which has fallen significantly after winning the BCS national championship just two years ago, is under NCAA investigation for the recruitment of players courted by Tigers’ assistants Trooper Taylor and Curtis Luper, several sources revealed.

Yahoo! Sports reported Wednesday that Taylor and Luper are not actively recruiting for the school at the present time, due to the investigation. Auburn coach Gene Chizik has declined comment when asked specifically about whether his coaches had been pulled from the recruiting trail.

I don't think Streeter. They were gonna work together, but they 86ed it because of some NCAA BS.

He probably isn't the best position coach recruiter, but it is close. Jethro Franklin puts in work. McDonald was a beast last year. This whole staff is a dreamteam group of recruiters. Its very close and difficult to say who is the top dog.

We're after two other WR's with JUST as much upside, if not more. There's a certain sentimentality that is involved with Coley because he is a SF guy and I understand that, but if we lose out on Coley, we won't be left with our shmeat in our hands

I think most people are so adamant aout getting coley because if he doesn't go to Miami he will be at FSU

Peter, I know you are young and weren't around for this but ask around about Tennessee, Trooper Taylor and his recruitment of Kenny Phillips. That's all you need to know to answer any question you might have about Trooper's "integrity"

We have a great WR Corps that is young and will be very dangerous. Should be an easy sell for AG to get someone quality down here in short order.

Why would Irvin be interested in being the Hurricanes WR coach? Doesn't he have a media career to worry about?

Trooper Taylor has nuclear heat with the NCAA. That guy has been in more NCAA hearings than anyone in the country over the past decade.

Hope you´re just trollin. Trooper can´t recruit **** without SEC-booster money, which we can´t provide. So IDK why he would be a good choice for us

There's a better chance that DBC becomes our next WR coach than Trooper Taylor.
