Too many DB's... Miami will be fine. Al Blades Jr. Coming next. I wouldn't be surprised if Ivey flips

Bama and osu do this ever year, but when we do it, It's a problem smh

Miami isn't bama or osu, they recruit guys nationally. Miami is more local. Kids don't want to share spots.

Wish RR well, wherever he lands.

Fūck that, so you'll wish him well if he lands in turdtown?

No.

He's a **** lover, I wish him misery and pain.

I just don't take it to the level of wishing him any ill will or calling him names etc just because he chooses to go to a different school. It's part of recruiting, happens in every teams class every year. I'm confident Miami can win without him and will.

FIFY

that was a legit FIFY. Not sure how I let that typo slip.

Yeah, I don't see Ivey flipping. He's one of, if not the most solid, of all our DB commits. Don't just assume because he's the lowest rated that he might be a flip candidate.

That's exactly what I'm saying, another school will offer more playing time to him early. NONE of these kids look like cane locks except for Gilbert Frierson & Al Blades jr

Ivey is as big of a Cane lock as the two you mentioned.

Not too many at all. Teams frequently use 5 and 6 DB lineups these days.

OSU last year brought in 6 DBs - two 5 stars and four 4 stars. And they are a big threat again this year for top DBs all over the country (including Campbell). Ditto Alabama, FSU, etc. You have to stack talent.

Miami doesn't recruit nationally?
2 of our highest rated top 100 guys in 2017 class
Dj Johnson and jeff Thomas were from out of state.

3 of our top 5 rated guys in this class 2018 class
Brevin jordan
Brian Hightower
Artur sitkowski
Are from out of state

We are in the most loaded hotbed of talent and the state is loaded this year and we are getting the elite talent in the state. But we still recruit nationally and have always done that.

Sucks that we lost him for multiple reasons. Most importantly he was a known commodity.

Current DB class has a few question marks. Obviously the staff isn't convinced either.

Ivey is a mystery. Frierson is decent. Jobe and Hall are going to be a battle till the end. We elite corners not another Ryan Mayes

WTF you smokin? Ivey is a mystery? Frierson is decent? What a ****** post.

Russell’s teammate at Miami-Carol City High, four-star running back Cam’Ron Davis, told 247Sports he is “staying at Miami” despite his friend’s departure from the recruiting class.

Tweed also told you that.

Umm they still have to share and compete for spots . Only difference is our kids know each other beforehand and are usually friends. I hate that bama and osu get passes to "stack" chips and we gotta go conservative. That's a weak submissive mentality and that's NOT what the U was built on

Ivey was able to cover and Run with Jeff Thomas stride for stride

That's all I needed to see

Really liked what RR brought to the class. Too bad. I'm hoping hall can be that thumper

gonna be honest hall always looked to me like the way better prospect. looks way more athletic and faster. sure, RR looks like a thumper but he lacks size and isn't that fast. not sure why some on here were acting like he was some special 5 star cant miss. gurvan hall is the real deal.

Hall is better in every aspect, Russell however can hit with the best of them including hall

Ivey isn't going anywhere , and is the best cover guy of the bunch. We need him in this class.

no way - jobe - hall - and tyson and jalen and asante a surtain are all better at covering then Ivey (still unproven)
