Kid asked to redshirt and we brought nothing in the portal to allow for this. smh.

I watched VT spring scrimmage because i was bored...and them mfers had like 5 or 6 scholly qbs. We trotting out 3 with 1 that knows his limits and asked for a shirt.

There had to be an FCS QB that wanted to step up for a chance to start here in 24 or a guy like how VT got Kyron Drones or some1 else to transfer over who lost a starting battle somewhere.

Mario mismanaged QB at Oregon as well. Hopefully Dawson can save our *** by hitting the portal after TVD has a great year. We know Mario doesn’t know how to manage the QB room.

Was at the scrimmage today. Last year imo Brown was looking to run (didn't have much choice) to where this year he seems to be trying to go thru his reads and at times, he held the ball for what seemed like a long time trying to get it to someone. He seemed to be pressing a lot too. Hopefully, he gets the shirt because he seems to have the work ethic and desire to be the guy. I think Dawson will get him there too.
I watched a Brown #11 that was different. A guy that locked in to his primary and threw to a spot. Open or not. Not sure what was worse, the lack of accuracy - not close at all, or his inability to read a vanilla defense. Brown does not have touch on the ball, just throws it. Footwork is bad. He needs lots of work. And Redshirt or not this season, he has less a small percentage to start for UM next season unless he improves at levels not quite seen before from one year to next. Helluva of an athlete though.

We better get that NIL $ saved up for an elite transfer if that’s the case. Can’t roll into next year with just Emory Williams, Jacurri, and fkn Judd lol

I wasn’t there yesterday but slow down with Jacurri slander. He’s a true sophomore in his second offense in his second year. That can’t be easy. Besides, still really early in camp (and his career).

Not saying he’s gonna be the next Cam, but don’t write him off just yet either.

People are reporting what they saw. They aren’t speculating or reading between the lines.

The dude has time (ish), but he needs a ton of development. I say time-ish because if he doesn’t shirt this year, then when will he and not get passed up?

Agree with all of this. I know very little about the QB position but boy did he look horrible yesterday.

With that said, it’s still way too early to give up on the kid. Especially one as athletic and talented as him. Potential #1overall pick if he can put it all together.

But it’s not too early to recognize that he’s likely 2 years away (this season and next season) from being a starter. And next years starter is very likely not on the roster (unless Emory is just too **** good).

I got no problem if folks say he stunk it up. We can and should critique the team or players fairly. However, what’s unfair is to write him off or pencil in Emory already. I’m seeing loads of “we need a transfer portal QB” posts this morning and I think that’s a little premature.

But for an abortion of a season last year, he’s a RS FR this year with far less expectations.

Yea. It really sucks that he was failed last season, and then as others have pointed out we didn’t bring in a QB2 to clearly let him shirt.

Can’t write him off and I hope he doesn’t become a what could have been due to mismanagement

hasn't seen a rael defense and the expectations are sky high. then if he doesn't hit them, we kill them bc they didnt live up to our own hype. let him develop and see what he becomes when he actually sees game time

Insert 2023 recruiting and it captures the entire Recruiting Board right now… hyped up, not living up to the hype machine, burning to the ground…

Why are you vomiting at a counter, man? @The Franchise

There's nothing more **** than a bunch big dudes running through small holes (I'm not pausing that for a second)

I was a season ticket holder from 2016-2020. I was at the Clemson 56-0 game. I was at the OB when we lost to GaTech. That 2017 year, the fans came out. Even vs Toledo and ****.

Hey man I came out for “and ****” last year too… I just didn’t expect to see and **** every time…

How TF is 8 the floor and 9 being with luck and ten being a miracle? Lol
We play 12 regular season games. If 8 is floor then 10 with luck and 11 would be a miracle. All games on the schedule are winnable except maybe Clemson. A&M barely beat us last year and with the amount of guys they lost, we have improved our team more than they have. I know people are on the FSU hype, but they didn’t improve that much more than us in two years.. but still, that’s your miracle game for 11 wins. Floor is 8, 9 is doable (if we beat May and the nobody’s at UNC), 10 with luck (beating A&M),11 miracle (beating FSU which is actually doable).
setting yourself up bro.. dont do it
