Miami back 7 lacks foot speed
Texas A&M has legit speedsters on offense.

Miami OL struggles with So Miss DL stunts and blitzes. Texas A&M DL and front 7 supremely more talented.

Our best WR, who is a leader and plays with an edge is out.

Now Johnson is starting at QB. He won't hurt Miami with his legs, but he threw for over 250 yards 7 times last year with LSU.

He can get the ball to TaMU's playmakers.

He had 27 TD's and 6 INTs last year at LSU.

This game sets up terrible for Miami, and I don't expect us to win. It's also not a must win game 3 into Mario's tenure. It's a must win for Jimbo all things considering. This is year 5 for him, lost to a G5 school, just signed best class in college football history.

If Miami competes in a big time road atmosphere, it would be a step forward for the program. Most times Miami gets overwhelmed i these situations.

Exactly. I watch college football religiously every weekend my entire life & I watch teams with much less talent scheme up wins. Put our guys in the right positions & we will be very tough. Idk we’ll see what happens tonight. First two weeks looks like the same old stuff to me.

Honestly I was leaning the same old same old until I watched a breakdown of our game with SM. Live it’s a lot harder to really see things. I saw our defense do subtle things that had to be coached into them. last year I didn’t see them. It’s the details that matter most.

Especially on the big stage and on TV. I have a warm fuzzy feeling that it all changes tonight, I expect a win and at the very least very competitive. Go Canes!

Facts. We don't enough of the horses yet. More than likely that gets exposed tonight. But if you watched closely, albeit vs lesser competition, you see better fundamentals & discipline immediately with this team. Execution improves with reps & the better talent makes it all come together. With Mario's recruiting will have this roster athletically elite in a couple years, just gotta manage the growing pains this year.

Under different circumstances I’d really like our chances. But, motivation counts for a lot in sports, particularly college sports. I think we’re catching the wrong team on the wrong night. Would love to be wrong.

Yeah sometimes when I see our fans talk I don’t know if they’re just being emotional or if they never watch other games

I think you and I are on the same page here. I’m not saying if we lose that everything is ****ed, but I think our eyes will tell us a lot…certainly more than we’ve seen so far

Right, like I’ve seen Iowa scheme up some great team recently, I’ve seen Mike Leach put up insane numbers a bunch of places. Nobody can tell me Iowa or Wazzu has had better players then we have. It drives me nuts.

College football is definitely about matchups and it feels like we haven’t “outmatched” anyone we’ve played in years. Like not even a fluke. It’s really frustrating

So like last week right…was that a sign of things to come or was that just the kinda **** that happens in college football?

We are going to find out a lot these next few games for sure

Were gonna find out tonight. If we lose we lose. Like you said it’s how you win or lose. A&M might just be more talented & I’m okay with that. I can live with that. I just wanna see a team that looks smart & does that right things in the right situations for once in my life.
