Yes. I also corrected my original post to specify that it is an indicator for defensive success year over year. It obviously says nothing about the offensive side of the ball, which is the currently the worst unit in FBS football. In terms of regular rotation players we return Bandy at corner, along with Carter and Hall. I think Derrick Smith slides back to safety to crack the 2-deep. Ivey, Blades and Frierson are going to have to take the next step.
Mark this down and bump it when I’m right: Our defense will take a big dive next year. Diaz puts a ton on his Safeties, and we’re losing 2 veteran starters who played the majority of the game. Willis will also be a huge loss because he ate up blockers and disrupted offenses up the middle.
I think top 20 should be feasible, may lack some experience on the backend but will still be very talented. With the style of our defense whoever we have on the dline will be productiveNot disagreeing with you, but can you quantify "big dive?"
I do not think we'll be #2 in total defense again. However, will we be top 10? 20? 50? I honestly have no idea. The points you brought up are solid and will lead to some frustrating busts on defense next year while Hall/Carter figure it out.
Play calling and system is horribe. The offense wasn't great when kaaya was either.I have more of an issue with the execution than the playcalling obviously im in the minority. The OL wasn't that good and our receivers dropped too many ball and thats when they would get an accurate pass. Players just have to get better before i start getting on the playcalling

Did Austin call out the Team Docs again, and how they're ending kids' careers?
Or did that get nuked too?
Agree Brock & I have been watching since Charlie Tate was introduced as our HC.The two things are not mutually exclusive, do the players have execution issues yes, but this Is STILL the worst offensive performance and playcalling I’ve ever seen since I’ve been old enough to watch Miami football (2000 was my first season when I was 6) and actually know what’s going on and it’s not even close....

As of this year didn't suck enough. For my digestive sake I hope your prediction doesn't come through.Mark this down and bump it when I’m right: Our defense will take a big dive next year. I think the defense is well developed and coached. I know their is scheme issues but the D has been above average. I'm looking for that being the trend for next year.Is it possible that Nesta, Hall, Carter, and Frierson? could surprise you?
HC and OC of the fighting bobcats. That has a nice ring to it. LoLWe need Lynn university to start a football and hire Thomas brown and Jon richt
