Yes. I also corrected my original post to specify that it is an indicator for defensive success year over year. It obviously says nothing about the offensive side of the ball, which is the currently the worst unit in FBS football.

Not disagreeing with you, but can you quantify "big dive?"

I do not think we'll be #2 in total defense again. However, will we be top 10? 20? 50? I honestly have no idea. The points you brought up are solid and will lead to some frustrating busts on defense next year while Hall/Carter figure it out.

I think top 20 should be feasible, may lack some experience on the backend but will still be very talented. With the style of our defense whoever we have on the dline will be productive

Play calling and system is horribe. The offense wasn't great when kaaya was either.

All the more to have our young very talented offense humming next year
 
The other thing because richt messed up we were really about to play the young defensive studs. We had to fight every game like we were navy

If this is the case then the Diaz firing calls will be out in full force as they are with Richt at this time next year?

How bout two years and one or two missed FG against us. Many career bests against us. Blocks against a dog poo team...Big whoop. ST is not college worthy. The fact we keep sticking these pathetic punters in is beyond reproach. JJ would have pulled schollies and had Baxa or Someone else pint.
 
Plus we’re now gonna scramble for recruiting scraps. Pathetic class. Worse than Golden. So depth will be worse. Spiraling outta control. All because “Malik is a warrior and been through a lot of wars, and gives us best chance to win”. Barring a miracle, stick a fork in the program, it’s done under MR.
