If we go 4-2 against FSU, VT, ND, PITT, GT, UNC then 10-2 is what our record should be. But a true freshman QB is an element that could potentially swing things hard one way or the other.

DMoney may have doubled up on his B12 before the podcast

DMoney came out the shell ......came out and kept it real

Listening to D Money and Pete I couldn't help but think are there any schools in the Nation that have our pedigree on the football field?
Maybe USC, Texas, Alabama, hate to admit these two Ohio State, Florida State, and Michigan in that order

Are we the real Gold Standard of College Football?

I have to agree with D Money it's due time

Garvin starts over who though?

He didnt say he will actually be a starter. He was saying that he was going to be playing a lot down the strech like joe did last year and you could basically consider him a starter.

I understand all reasons for optimism and feel the same way, but there is a reality to also be considered:

1) Frosh QB and OL improvement are not to be overlooked on their importance
2) We have scary depth at RB, TE and CB if we get the injury bug.

NO reason to expect a record worse than last year, but I would say 10+ wins is the realistic potential vs. the floor.

I would add Penn State to that list, but as far as pure, raw talent goes, I think you are probably close.

If you look at the preseason top 25, a lot of the teams ahead of us simply don't have the same type of athleticism (Wisc, Stanford). Others are probably close (LSU, Georgia), but we are right there at the top of that second tier.

"Coming to you from our CI Studios in Miami Beach". Speaking of swag! Even our unofficial website location has more appeal than Tuckaloo or jortsville. Love DMoney's disdain for everything gater.

Miami definitely has the goods to be really good. Here are my top five concerns-

1) O-line
I know they got better in the last half of the season but are still unproven to me; particularly, in the run game. If they can open up running lanes early and often I'll feel much better about the offense as a whole.

2) QB

We need a breakout season if we're talking about ACC Championship. Serviceable will only get us the Coastal.

3) WR

I really hope 3 or 4 guys (besides Richards) step up this year. Richards and one other guy is not enough to be great.

4) RB

Walton is a stud, however, we need a 1-2 punch period. Travis Homer, I'm calling on you.

5)CB

Couple of transfers really expected to help this group. I just hope it works.

If these things happen then D-money is on the something.

Why are UM fans always looking for reasons not to be optimistic about upcoming seasons? Any time you guys hear some positive hype you feel the need to try to invent negative scenarios. Yeah if we lose a bunch of key players we won't be as good as D$ thinks. That holds true for EVERYONE else too.

After listening to that Podcast, I'm ready to destroy someone the way Ultimo Dragon destroyed Bone Crusher Sileo.

"The Peyton Manning affect. You know Perry isn't the most conventionally handsome man in the world "

This must have been recorded before the news about Mayes.
