Lammons and Patten,Big Deal.Just what we need two recruits 5"9' 170lbs.A 6'4'
reciever or 220lb RB will make mincemeat out of these two.
Alabama 2012 starting secondary was 6"1'-6"2 200+lbs.

It's not like they'll be the only two corners on the roster, Al's not an idiot, if the other team is putting 6'4 receivers out there he'll put Artie burns or Tracy or some other corner out there

I think you are being kind about the 5'9 part with Patten

If a guy is truly 5'9, why not take him, there isn't much of a difference in a 5'10-5'11 guy, just get em stout and they'll be fine. 5'9er's tend to be quicker, and better overall cover guys than a 6'1 corners.

Bama can play Cover 2 all day, and leave it to their Safety's to pick up anything deep. Heck, Alabama can get away with pulling a 6'1 230 LB at CB, because they cause alot havoc upfront because they're a physical team... They may give up a 5 yard out, but then might get a 7 yard loss on the next play; they have it like that.

We don't, so we need to make sure we have guys that can Cover!!!

OK Corch Shannon.

6'1-6'2 CB's don't grow on trees especially ones that can actually run. Your talking about Dee Milliner being 6'1? Try 5'11.5. We have a really nice mix of bigger CB's, guys who can cover the slot, speedy corners, etc. I'm happy with what we have right now at the position.

I had Adoree Jackson, Springs, Hester, and (if goes prep) R Robinson ahead of Patten and Lammons. But they're all takes.

Either Patton or Lammons. Dont need both IMO, unless we're signing 4

Jackson was never coming here were not even in his top 10. Springs is now feeling the heat from family to attend Texas and always had Oregon ahead of us if they would of offered which they recently did. Hester we have a shot at if he visits but i think he likes Rutgers alot. Patten and Lammons are UM best bet and i think Patten will announce for UM soon. I hope Robinson does Prep and UM should be calling him everyday..

I've said this many times. I like Pattens film but him not attending many camps was a red flag. What's he hiding? **** even Lammons did the rounds at a few camps. Did pretty decent head to head against Lane. But Patton is just MIA. Like he's got it like that. And at 5'7.5 I'm not sure he does.

Patten was just on campus as well as lammons. Neither participated in the camp .& as for camps early in the spring wasn't patten doing track?

Legit corner experience, change of direction, lateral quickness, and ball skills are more important than how tall a corner is at the college level. We're more likely to find an Alphonso Smith type corner than we are a Patrick Johnson type corner.

Hes a world class track runner. Track season is the same time as camp season

*Sigh* Peter, you just had to use a picture from when BTW played my old school, didn't you?
