Miami's third scrimmage cancelled due to weather

Miami's third scrimmage of fall practice has been cancelled due to weather. It was originally slated to begin at 9 a.m. this morning before the lightning radar went off in Coral Gables.

The scrimmage was supposed to be a "practice game" format in preparation for Miami's opener against FAMU. - https://www.canesinsight.com/thread/canes-practice-game-famu-tomorrow/100983

It is not expected to be rescheduled for today because the semester is underway and the players have class throughout the day.

We are playing Famu so this is not a issue. There is no need to scrimmage at this point. We basically are going to have a scrimmage on game day.

The mind set will be to play fast,crisp and error free. Goal should be 21 pts first quarter about 10 to 13 the second. Then shut it down at half time and let the young guys take over.

Keep the score around 50 to 13 and call it a night.
