One of Miami's top targets in the 2027 recruiting class is back on the market after recently decommitting from the USC Trojans.

Eli Woodard out of (Temecula, CA) is back on the market after decommitting from Lincoln Riley's USC Trojans squad. Miami is expected to be a major contender in Woodard's recruitment, according to 247Sports.

This prospect committed to USC in February but decided to back off that pledge today. Some other schools have continued to recruit Eli, including Miami. The Hurricanes have been making a steady push for the 5-foot-11, 180-pound wide receiver ever since his verbal commitment, and they now have an opportunity to secure him in the Hurricanes monster 2027 class.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Eli is rated as a four-star prospect. He ranks as the No. 189 player overall, the No. 26 wide receiver, and the No. 13 player in California.

Recruiting never stops. A busy summer is right around the corner, stay tuned.
