Miami Sticking Out For Brown

Miami Sticking Out For Brown

Tito Benach
While many UM fans were disappointed by the team's result against state rival Florida State, 2014 Hardee (Fla.) Defensive End Keyon
Brown saw a lot that he liked.

“I think it was actually a good game, I didn’t think Miami was going to play like that. The University of Miami came out and fought hard
and played back. I liked how they came out pumped and fought with the coaches all excited and jumped around and how they played."

Brown is hearing from over thirty schools and has offers from UCF, Miami, Pittsburgh and Lafayette.

While it is early in the process for Brown, he does admit that a couple schools are sticking out for him right now.

“Miami, Florida State and South Carolina.”

The 2014 Defensive End has high interest in the University of Miami and explained why.

“I talk to the coaches a lot, I like the campus because it’s not too big or too small and I also like the atmosphere.”

Brown talks to Coach Golden and Coach Jethro Franklin on a consistent basis and talked about what he likes about them.

“Coach Golden, I think he is a great guy, he takes time out to talk to people and talk to recruits and he actually can hold a conversation
besides football. Coach Franklin is great guy, we laugh around and joke around. He asks about my family and he has coached me at a camp
before.”

While Brown is interested in Miami, he also shared his feeling on the possible looming sanctions Miami may face and if that would affect his
interest.”

“Not really, I actually talked to Coach Golden about it, he said he doesn’t know whats going to happen, but it’s not a big factor right
now.”

Brown is planning to visit Miami more in the future.

Spoken like he is a fan of ours IMO.

What kind of prospect is he?

Looks like a good athlete with the frame to get a lot bigger.

He should be 245-ish by the time he steps on a college campus.

I am pretty sure I saw him prior to the FSU game and he could easily pass as a Junior or Senior in college

Been sayin' this cat is a beast. Favorite recruit in the 2014 class.

Guy is 6'2 228. Freak of Nature. Him and Chad Thomas could be deadly

from my area, the comp in that video is horrible. pretty much biggest kid on the field. color me not sold

This kid is a freak. i think he is ours unless sanctions are real bad.

That kid's going to be a 4-3 DT. He looks like he's already 235 lbs.
