Listed at 6-foot-6, 210 pounds, the Cardinal Gibbons two-way product earned an offer earlier this summer following UM's Prospects Day.
At the high-school level DeRoche has played across the board from TE to LB and DE, and is a three-sport athlete --- competing in basketball and track alongside football.
Last season he racked up seven sacks and five touchdowns, demonstrating his ability on both sides of the ball.
Already listed as a four-star prospect, DeRoche's stock will only rise with his high-ceiling athleticism and positional versatility.
