I agree. I’m not saying it’s been perfect or anything close to that. It’s just what’s the 1000 foot view rn? We can be rightfully frustrated but at the same time, we do have to give credit where it’s due.

I do think Mario has done a good job at identifying the issues and trying to address them quickly rather than sit on them. Which is an issue his last four predecessors didn’t do, whether that was keeps underperforming coaches, schemes, etc.

I do wish he’d just let go completely of the offense and trust his coordinator. But he’s shown he can get the right pieces for an absolutely elite offense and he can get the pieces for a very good defense. I think it’s clear that 10, maybe 11 wins will be his floor. With the occasional everything hits at once. I just don’t see him cratering to like 7-5, 8-4. That’s just my opinion until we leave the ACC.
He pretty well burn the mother to the ground and built it up back up with proper infrastructure and "culture" and a mentality that football matters as part of the institution and I think with that and NIL money we get the right players that, yes we may lose a game, but its not losing the season.

I think it's being treated as a professional football institution, and I am crazy frustrated by the offense, but I am certainly happier then we were delighted to have a 9 win season with a blowout vs 1 to 3 teams a year and hoping just top be competitive in the conference.

A KState legacy from the same city that KState is in and they never really pursued? But hey, it’s a “top100” commit!
You lost all privileges to evaluate DBs with your Keionte Scott takes in the Spring. Tried clowning what ended up being the best player on the team. I didn't forget.

He got benched on defense too. He was getting smoked. And he was the one who told AU he wanted to play outside.

The difference is, that’s this year. Y’all are talking about and cherry picking last years stats. He got benched on every side of the ball he played, this year. Auburn boards were not sad to see this guy go.

We have plenty of new options on this team already. Brantley will start there but we have youth that can hold it down. Or so I have been told on here by D$? We only needed a safety or 2 when the spring portal opened. What happened to where there is this desperate scramble for a nickel corner?

Again, he was all SEC for special teams. Not defense at all

High praise from Ivins. Sounds like he looks really good even amonst other high level competition
Yup great measureables and testing numbers, with plus film and impact plays in all Phases. Then also standout with other high level athletes so location isnt a knock. Probably one of our best players overall.

Those weren’t takes. That was all the truth. I told zero lies. Don’t forget that.

Ehh. You took a hard stance on it and were more wrong than any take on a specific player I've seen in a while. This was 100% wrong lol "We have plenty of new options on this team already. Brantley will start there but we have youth that can hold it down" and we're about to see that in full effect if its true that he's out.

You took stuff you read on an Auburn message board as gospel. You get blamed for regurgitating bull**** and then trying to say you don't own that as a take.

I made an eval and told you how he fit our system and how good he actually was as a nickel and said it was the best take we made out of the portal. Should have just listened.

I think if we took most of the board and sat them down the year Mario got hired and said year three he’d go 10-3 and have the first overall draft pick, year 4 10 wins is again realistic and we’d have two top 10 picks, most would’ve accepted that happily.

Does things in the present reality kinda blow considering we’re losing to teams inferior to us suck? Absolutely. But anyone saying the program hasn’t moved up a tier since Mario got here is naive.

The floor has raised here considerably since Manny. That can be true while still being disappointed by some of the on field issues this year.
Too **** logical and sensible. Cut it out.

One of the things you shared was a gif that I used on a BrooklynDee post who was echoing the same thing I was saying about his time at Auburn. And the stuff on the message board wasn’t wrong. Saying Chuck would start at nickel was the word coming out of camp. Chuck was the one transfer everyone was talking about, he and X. I go with what I see and no one, not even you saw Scott being a Thorpe semifinalist when we got him. There were MANY people echoing the same things that I was saying.
