Good chance everything in North Carolina is closed on Monday with this storm. The delay from Duke will continue. This is their best shot at Mensah returning. Him changing his mind with all the waiting. Glad he seems to be staying firm in his decision to leave that **** hole and join one of the best programs in the country.

Seriously. Is there an explanation for why the motion for today was denied? Or why they are then fine waiting three business days?
Even though it would obviously be better to have this all settled today and have Mensah already in school in Coral Gables, I do feel confident that he will join us and I believe the Registrar will make an exception here and get him registered. Sooner the better, but I think we're good here.

My favorite part about this whole situation is Duke pretending like they didn't raid Tulane for Mensah in the first place.
Dont think so, I think the judge owes it to the Mensah party to present the new evidence in a timely matter.
It wasn’t denied. It just isn’t being heard today. The TRO will be reconsidered anyway at the PI hearing, so it looks like the court just moved up the PI hearing a bit and plans to deal with it all then.
