Duke first approached (Tampered, whatever you want to call it) Mensah on October 31, 2024 when Tulane was in Charlotte to play Charlotte.

An unofficial deal was reached sometime right before or right after Tulane beat Navy in Annapolis on November 16.

Mensah and Tulane looked bad in Tulane's last two games (Memphis and the AAC Championship at Army) after starting the season 9-2 and being ranked as high as17. People inside the locker room and athletic department knew he had one foot out the door, and even though no one will admit it publicly, it affected the way the entire team played in those last two games.

Mensah's agent instructed him to leave West Point with him, and not the team (which he did without telling anyone). This was on December 6.

Mensah went to California for a couple of days before going to Durham for his one and only visit (he entered the portal on December 8).

Mensah committed to Duke on December 11.

There is more, and I could go into more detail, but Duke 1 zillion percent tampered (if that's a thing) and it could have cost Tulane a shot at the playoffs (if Tulane had won out and Boise State lost, Tulane was in the playoffs). Duke 100% cost Tulane an AAC title last year.

PS

His agent looks like Temu Vanilla Ice

**** them, I want also their RB and the Boozer twins.

Is Jim Phillips, ACC Commissioner, still remaining silent?
He’s still counting how many toothpicks were spilled when the toothpick box fell off the counter.

I said Mensah’s biggest mistake in all this was committing too early. He needed to wait it out and probably would not be in this situation.

Miami also induced Jeremiah Smith to sign up and stay home...it didn't work.
Ultimately it's up to the player to decide not the school

Yes…the hometown hero…who is known as Baby Jesus in the 305…take your best shot lol
Would be hard for him to turn down the Duke Blue Devils football program with Zach Eget at QB.

Listen, we have all seen some delusional stuff in this college football world of message boards. A lot of us have posted it ourselves over the last 20 years (I myself once said N'Kosi Perry was the next Deshaun Watson, pre-creepiness).

This might be the most delusional post ever recorded on a college football message board.
