Losing Moten might just have been a bigger loss than Mesidor or Bain. We do have solid guys ready to step up at DE. We've got nothing after Moten.

On a line with absolute bonafide first round talents on the dline, our most consistent lineman moten is coming back. Whew

Miami is getting a big body back on the defensive line.

Defensive lineman Ahmad Moten will return for the 2026 season, giving the Hurricanes a proven piece up front. The South Florida native has been a steady part of Miami’s defensive line, helping both against the run and getting after the quarterback.

InsideTheU was first to report the news.

Moten, who stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 325 pounds, finished last season with 31 tackles and 4.5 sacks. Over three seasons at Miami, Moten has put up 51 total tackles and 5.5 sacks, plus an interception in 2023.

His return gives Miami experience and size in the middle of the defensive line heading into 2026.

So great to see how much this kid has progressed and become a dominant DT.

He put in the work and stayed the course, and now he is set to position himself next season as THE premier DT in all of college football.

True success story that we should be proud of.

It was absolutely jarring and incredible. How you stop a 200+ lb RB with one outstretched desperate arm?

I was floored live. I thought I misperceived something.
and not just any 200 lb RB....Indiana RBs were running through guys all year/all playoffs including our game. When he did that with one arm, I was in awe similar to you.

Scott finna take that next step, and come to find out Moten is that dude. Based off that Indiana game, I think Moten is better than Bear and Washington from Oregon.

This is SOOOOO huge for the team. You don't just find 6'3" 324 lb MANCHILDREN anywhere.

And if you saw the clip of Mario asking him about his "fuccin ankle" after the Ole Miss game, you know "Who gives a fucc, we won the fuccin game!"
My lord I need some priapism relief every time I think of that.....

Can we have two DL go first round back to back years? Bain possibly messidor. Wilson and Moten next draft. Genuine question

JT is becoming as good a coach as he was a player. Says a lot about him as well.
