History tells us we are going to drop one of those Friday night games and both will be difficult battles.

We have THREE Friday night games. @ Stanford, @ Wake, and home against Va Tech. The Stanford game is opening week, so Im hopeful that it wont be as brutal as @ Cal was in 2024 being mid-season. The Va Tech game is at home, which should help (although Louisville this past season did not).

That's why the one @ Wake jumps out at me. Wake will be a decent team again this year. I'd look for them to be a solid 8-4 type team. Those are the worst games. If you beat them, you get no credit, but if we play poorly, losing is a real possibility.

I know I’m a Debby downer but the October stretch is tricky…
At Clemson - they will be better
FSU- rivalry game
Pitt- they will be solid
At UNC- trap game look ahead ND
Will clemson be better? They went 7-5 and lost some nfl talent on defense. Dabo is a good coach tho but they seem to be trending down as a program

Stay healthy .

Expect a great season as long as these boys are healthy and continued development.

Pretty young along the OL and QB does have a ton of experience. OL has a combination of 17 total starts with RG having most of them. 2 kids haven’t played before. 2 kids with 1-2 starts. QB-1 start, 11 games played. Mensah has 27 starts.

Dabo is determined to not cave into this new era lol i respect it

We have 4 games to break in a new OL and potentially 2 freshman or sophomore OT. We also can't afford to drop a game before Notre Dame, don't want a must win game there
Good points there. Maybe get Luke a lot of time under center too.

If he isn’t the starter already depending on the portal situation
The reason to go to other conferences is for the bigger money. If you think we will get "better treatment" elsewhere, you'll be sorely disappointed.
oh I know that. So take the better money in the long term

@Wake, @Clemson, @ND, VT, and FSU will not be easy.

No idea what Pitt will be.

I was there in 2004 when we were top 5 and lost by a FG. That was back when a loss was still a gut punch. My friend and I had driven down from DC and had a hotel in Chapel Hill, but were so upset about the loss that we decided to drive back to DC that night (4.5 hour drive) after a 7PM game. We got home around 3AM or 4AM.
Leaving that game we had multiple female students mocking us for the loss, each time I looked for a male companion to retaliate.

I anticipate FSU to go a lot like it did in 2024. They’re arguably worse this year than they were last year. Decent chance Norvell is fired before then too

Don’t know if it has been mentioned but Klempson has 9 home games? What in the….is that about? Will the ACC ever give us that schedule?

My experience was different - My friend and I did not have anyone say anything to us or see any UNC fans say anything to any other UM fans, they just genuinely looked happy. I remember very vividly saying to my friend 'wow, I guess they aren't used to winning - they don't know how to taunt the opposing fan base' 😂

Thats not accurate, Clemson has 4 away games in ACC play. Cal and Syracuse should show as away

#1 strength of schedule yet again.

The game is AT Cal and its on a Friday night. Brutal. Cross country trip for a Friday night game.

The ACC sucks. They had no business adding Cal and Stanford.

The Cal game for them is a trap. Travel 5-6k miles(total) only to have Miami on the other end before a bye.

Hopefully the Stanford game isn't that bull**** acc after dark game in a Friday like Cal a couple years ago. If so I may go to that game
