Any idea when they announce kick times for week 1? A Friday game I’m guessing would be evening local time.

A lot of people keep making the same mistakes year in, and year out.

Probably us but it’s close. They have us, BYU, and SMU. I’ll never consider a service academy a tough game because they have good records. Sorry Navy.
We have ND plus 3 teams with 8+ wins in 2025 but 4 teams with 4 or less wins, FAMU, and CMU. That’s pretty atrocious.
We’re gonna end up with 1 ranked game on the whole schedule and it’ll be ND. Maybe Pitt can sneak in or VT since I’ve already seen them in some way too early T25. Guess Franklin’s hype machine followed him.

The reason to go to other conferences is for the bigger money. If you think we will get "better treatment" elsewhere, you'll be sorely disappointed.

We have a bye before fsu. Fsu plays at UL the week before.

UNC is dead by the time we play. Likely 4-5 losses.

no teams with a bye week before playing us. Two travel to California.
Kudos to Stanford...the only team with the balls to face us week 1.

Despise those Friday / Thursday night games. Feel so bush league to me. Only high schools or MAC / Sun belt should be playing those nights. Plus weird upsets always happen. I’m already worried about that Friday night against VT….late in the season with everything going for us, Franklin with a bunch of guys from PSU.

I was there in 2004 when we were top 5 and lost by a FG. That was back when a loss was still a gut punch. My friend and I had driven down from DC and had a hotel in Chapel Hill, but were so upset about the loss that we decided to drive back to DC that night (4.5 hour drive) after a 7PM game. We got home around 3AM or 4AM.
