Really? I can't think of anyone from the AU offense that's been unstoppable since Cam Newton left.

Maybe he isn't being sold on being only a WR. ;)

Anyway, just passing along a viewpoint from the AU side. Richards may just be stringing them along, but from their point of view, he's liking what they're selling him regarding getting the ball in his hands and letting him make plays.

We better not blow MAR's recruitment by not adapting to selling him on being an offensive weapon. I know they used the Jabril Peppers model, which I liked. But imo the best example is DeeJay Dallas.

Just doesn't look like Dallas on the field imo...But yes agree, let him get his first shot on offense. WR is more likely than RB imo, kid doesn't look like a RB at all imo.

The best selling point we have is the Deejay Dallas example. MR has found ways to utilize players and if MAR is best suited at RB, that's where he will be. If he's a WR or a S then he will play there. Dallas came into a very similar situation to MAR with some saying WR, some safety and some RB. He found his groove at RB and many are predicting a breakout season in his Sophomore campaign. What else do you need to see?

LOL..that's crazy. Nate Craig went there a few years ago as one of the top 3 WR's in the country. He has 20 receptions in 2 years

Helluva name drop. Wow. LOL. Why these top WRs go to these SEC schools thinking they are going to be the **** is beyond me. Malachi Dupree is on that list too.

I thought I saw somewhere reported that they used both Peppers and DeeJay comparisons when pitching him. Said they see him in the DeeJay role as being versatile piece on O.

Bc the receiving of money for these kids & their families makes them forget all logic.

Speaking of Dupree...LSU signs top WR’s every year & its obvious they’re taking money bc LSU never has anyone to get them the ball.

Terrence Tolliver ended up doing nothing at LSU also

Actually SEC WRs are doing pretty well in the draft, from Alshon to Mathews to ODB to Amari Cooper to Julio to AJ Green to Landry to Treadwell to Evans to Ridley to Kirk and on and on. NFL finds talent, no matter the offense, look at Calvin Johnson and D. Thomas, they played for a team that runs the ball 95% of the time.

That said MAR needs to be a Cane, like his brother

Why does everyone keep acting like we haven’t talked to him about playing offense? Do you really think Coach Richt is that clueless when it comes to recruiting? People still acting like we got Golden and Shannon at the helm.

That’s a whole fūcking conference you’re talking about.

Minus the 2 physical freaks that could have gone anywhere, SEC puts out a shltty number of WRs considering the vast number of quality they recruit in. It’s the astronomical black hole place of death and destruction for highly rated wide receivers.

Just like Bama is where RBs go to NOT have NFL careers.

But you go on sucking that gator and SEC cak....at this point you’re not even trying to hide it.

The truth of the matter is you can go anywhere if your goal is to just make it to the league (heck, I went to Kent State and we even have players in the NFL), but if you want HOF, All-pro, GOAT status, well you know where to go.

That was the premise of the conversation, maybe you missed that point, doesn't surprise me
