2014 Fort Lauderdale High School LB Jaboree' Williams (6’1”, 217) is one of the most interesting prospects in the country. Although he’s listed as a linebacker, you will see that he’s not a one-trick pony after watching his highlights.

“My versatility is my strength. I can play linebacker, safety, or slide to offense. I can play anything that coach needs me to play and I’ll do anything to help my team win. I have quickness on the defensive line and can cover at linebacker,” said Williams.

Williams embraces the opportunity to play multiple positions for his team.

“It’s a role I love. I can get with the big guys, can go back with the little guys at safety and cover and go to my own position also.”

The versatile athlete has been putting in extra work this offseason to improve.

“I run with the track team, work out with coach, and I have a big backyard at home so I do ladder work, push ups, sit ups. I work out with anyone who can make me better.”

The talented linebacker holds offers from South Alabama, SMU, FAU, and Memphis, but is hoping for Miami to show interest.

“I love Al Golden, I think he’s a great coach and the program is close to home. I love the old Hurricanes and I want to bring it back. I want to go there and ball.”

When asked if he would be camping at Miami this summer, Williams wasn’t shy with his answer.

“Yes sir, I definitely will. I want to be MVP and leave with an offer. I want the coaches to know who I am by the end of the day.”

**Aside from the Miami camp, Williams plans to attend camps at USF, UCF, FSU, as well as take trips to SMU and UCONN.

**He also hopes to hear from Florida, Georgia, Vandy, Marshall, Alabama, and NIU.

See Pete, this is one of the many examples of recruit that is not "entitled".

He wants an offer from us, so he says he is going to come earn one if that is what the coaches want. Period. Any other response from a kid is chin music, and to me says something about how much they really want the offer.

Kid looks to be the real deal, whats up with his recruitment?

Does he have grade issues?

I would love to offer this kid, seems like an old school Cane from his coments and has some very nice film.

Not to mention it is a bad year for LBs and we are about to miss on another good one in Andrew Beck.

My guess is it might be an exposure thing. Spring could be big for him when coaches can go and evaluate at practices.

Anyone know how good the comp he is playing against?

Saban knows about the kid. They are in the process of evaluating his film.

Didnt we already have another thread about this kid? Anyway, he probably is not getting alot of pub because of the school he plays for. Ft. Lauderdale High is only known for there Pre-Law Magnet program these days..The film looks good. Let him go to camp and see what he is made of..He looks the part I must say..

And OF COURSE Alabama is evaluating him. Why am I not surprised? Smh. Ole' Mario strikes again..How the **** could ALA find out about a no name LB from a no name HS with exactly 4 offers from colleges if not for ole Mario. Lol. This guy is really sumthin else I swear..

I need to apologize to Pete in his previous thread he said look out for Williams and I said he was too small and slow because Under Armor had him listed at 5'10 205 running a 5.17 40.

NftC camp has him listed as 6-1 207 and running a 4.84

they also said

LB: Jaboree Williams, 6-0, 204, Fort Lauderdale (Fla.)
Breakdown: Williams probably had the best all-around day for the LBs at this camp. Exceptional in all drills, individual periods, matchups/1on1s, and skelly. Definitely a leader by the energy he brings and by the example he sets. Really like his ability to accelerate when changing direction. SMU, Memphis and FAU have offered so far.

I just read the kid has a 3.0 GPA 1620/1180 SAT. 105 tackles, 9 pass deflections, 9 sacks and 5 INTs for the 2012 season! This kid is for real!
