Pretty obvious what happened here. Kid just being silly. He recanted after Minister Barrow dropped this dime on him:

This has been my point all along. These kids will tell anyone anything. But some of the head guys here take the **** as gospel and stand a little too firmly behind it when all signs are pointing to the kid lying or just not wanting to hurt people's feelings.

Well, it is what it is. That's about it. I personally think it's a character flaw. That doesn't mean that these guys won't be great players but I think there is truly some narcissistic quality to it.

I know it's nothing I would have done. It's cultural and it's disgusting.

I guess it's our fault for getting all wrapped up in it. I'm about to bow out early this year.

If the corches are smart they're already looking for his replacement. He's way too unsteady to be a guy that I'd rely on to sign here if my job depended on it.

Meh, I dont think the kid is that smart by half. I think its more likely he's trying to create some "drama" and set up for a "big annoucement" and he's f*cked it all up by creating a sh8tstorm. We could well lose him, but the way he is playing this makes me think he's playing games to build up suspesnse. That sh*t he told Rivals about how signing day is "his big day, what he's been waiting for", and that is why he wont announce his final choice til then, makes me think it could just be that he wants the drama and excitement of a big announcement, instead of just being pencilled in as "commit" .

Sooooooooooooooooooooooo what if he sticks to UM will this matter? Ijs, Pete goes hard and is accurate many times on recruits and the rare times he may be "getting played" the **** gets overblown to the max when analyst all over other sites get **** wrong every week and nobody bashes them. IF Pete is wrong then ok but lets not make it like last year where he's getting bashed all over for trying to come through for us who are on this site for free

Dont mix it up, Pete goes ham. Guy is one of the main reasons this site has blown up. With that said, I don't believe ****. Where there's indecisiveness like this, it's usually not good. We shall see.

Ok like most of you I don't know what the **** is going on but could people please lay off the negative stuff because the kid is a stud and we do not want to turn him off because they find out about way people post

Miami alone has how many site? Now including the herald, sun sentinel, etc who jump in late in the year a couple months before signing day...

Now multiply that by multiple schools, now u got twitter fans n crap... Plus with the info alone has become a commodity it can even get grandma some needed attention... This sh*t is crazy
 
With that said didn't the same exact **** happen with Travis Rudolph....people were saying he deco mittens he said in an interview they were just rumors and boom a week later he was gone
