Not going to happen. Silent commits are common all throughout college football. Plus you would tell Evan Neal don’t silently committ to us? Rhetorical question for those following.
Of course you accept the silent "commit." Then, you turn around and continue to recruit and SIGN at that position. Treat a silent as what it is: NOT a commitment.

Silent commitments are truly garbage. Saban has a lot to sell
championships and first round draft choices.
sound familiar .... thats who we used to be

I see you have a firm grasp on how to build a great team. In what world do you skip the best player because a lesser talent will commit right now?

"some tri-county area kids view Miami as a fallback plan of sorts. Some close to the program believe the Hurricanes are viewed by some recruits as the 'girlfriend at home' that is always there for them and they take advantage of it."
Bunch of spoiled entitled brats

I would offer the two local kids, Kancey and Ray. Then, try to go hard on JUCO or recruit 1 or 2 national studs who might be flip able or have not yet committed. At this point we need bodies and hope 1 or 2 of them becomes a stud.
we need to consider the JUCO route period as SEC seems to be able to come and get any 4-5* they need
A.Cooper, J.Jeudy, T.Campbell, P. Surtain now Ingrahmn

Best defense in the country (especially the line), hometown team, position coach with NFL experience, mom likes us, win 9+ games a year, plenty of playing time, new facilities, fun environment and culture, and you get to live in ******* Miami!

What the **** are you supposed to even do when ALL of that isn't enough to beat bags?

Money is money, I get that, but do some math: per semester Miami costs $10k more... so over 4 years, you're already getting $80k more. Then add the difference for cost of living, all the fun **** Miami has that they don't, etc. How BIG are these bags that baga drops for 4* kids??? 100k? 200k? There is no way that the difference after doing the math is really worth living in Tusca-*******-loosa for 4 years, a place where any tree over 40 years old has probably had a rope tied to it at one point.

How the **** are you supposed to win with this ****? Someone please give me an actual answer cause I can't think of anything besides praying to God every night that Saban drops dead from a heart attack tomorrow.

Rational thinking isn't something we have at that age

Last year with Campbell was even worse. HS coach that turned him into the CB he was, like a 2nd father, balling on defense, first year of the turnover chain, known his future position coach all his life....Goes to UGA

Couple of things here:

1) how many current NFL DT’s are from the U? How many from Bama?

2) how many first rounders have we had in the last 10 years? how many has Bama?

3) what is Miami currently ranked? what is Bama?

4) who was fired from the SEC? Our coach or Bama’s?

5) Which school lets their kids essentially major in football, with zero class attendance needed? Which one has coaches following kids to class and has outrageous entrance requirements for football players?

6) what does Miami buy its players? what does Bama?

Until we act like a real elite program again, we will continue to fail.

Desean Jackson was to usc look where he ended up at forget all the early and silent commitments if the want to be here they will come

Preach

And for every Gurvan Hall who picks us over Bama we make him sit behind a Robert Knowles who isn’t even close to the talent level he is

Sure Hall may be more talented but he’s no 4th year Junior who can’t diagnose plays and always be out of position. In the likely event that the 4th year junior does actually find himself in position, Hall doesn’t possess the same unique skill set to completely whiff on the tackle like that 4th year Junior can. When Hall can develop THOSE skills and become a veteran Matador, he will then play more.

You'd think that eventually this staff would stop with the whole "silent" commit business

win 9+ games a year

There's your answer. Try winning more. Pretty simple actually. Suck LESS.

Kids want to win and play in the BEST conference in cfb. The ACC is 0-17 this year against ranked teams (outside of Clemson). We are a basketball conference. As for the rest of your poRst... ZZZzzz. What does the current Alabama football machine have to do with any of that? Miami is a cess pool.
