likely means he committed to another team officially (hopefully us with all these **** bat signals)
he entered the portal a month ago but he wasn't gone from ole miss until he committed somewhere else... they would have accepted him back and he could have removed his name from the portal at anytime

A month ago sounds like they're still on the 28.8 bps, and haven't moved up to the 56k modems.
If that's the case - they probably have to pipe sunlight into that area as well.
