Our first game of the year is less than a day away, and our first opponent FAU should really just be a glorified scrimmage (According to Bovada, Florida Atlantic is a 32-point underdog). Don't expect to see anything much more than a very plain offence from Miami with UF as our second game. FAU will be using up to four different QBs in the game. I doubt they will be able to get any offensive rhythm going so hopefully our defense can stop them early and often. This will be Miami's first ever match up with FAU, the 3 game series was put together with the help of and in honor of the great Howard Schnellenberger. According to Tim Reynolds of The Associated Press, Schnellenberger will be an honorary captain for both teams. As he helped start turning The "U" into the name brand it is today and helped build FAU from the ground up.The 'Canes will be honoring the 1983 national championship-winning team.
