Early Enrollees update (12-14)

A lot of you have been asking about January enrollees in this recruiting class, so here is what I have gathered over the past few days. None of this is set in stone with some prospects relying on passing certain courses or achieving test scores/GPA.

Deadline for the Financial Aid paperwork that allows for communications?

There is no deadline that I'm aware of. He can sign one days before enrolling or months before.

He can sign one per conference so he can technically sign one with Bama and one with Miami. He can't sign one with UNC and Miami though.

There is no deadline that I'm aware of. He can sign one days before enrolling or months before.

He can sign one per conference so he can technically sign one with Bama and one with Miami. He can't sign one with UNC and Miami though.

There is nothing stopping him from staying in HS for the spring term.

Unless the rules changed, didn't Cook sign one with all 3 big Florida schools? That's 2 in the ACC. Also, how could Juedy stay in high school if he's qualified as an EE? That would mean he's already met all his requirements at that level.

Would that hurt our chances with DJ? I think he is one of the most important recruits in this class and Washington was going in hard for him.

Rules haven't changed. Cook didn't sign one with all three.

I completed my requirements to graduate in the fall but wanted to take some elective classes and play baseball. It happens all the time. Now, he can play past a certain age which is really the only limiter.

Rules haven't changed. Cook didn't sign one with all three.

Are you 100% on Cook not signing with all 3? I have a great memory and specifically remember that but I could be mistaken.

Edit: just looked it up on ESPN, here are 3 players that signed more than 1 in the same conference, Dalvin signed with all 3.

Josh Malone, the No. 7-ranked receiver prospect nationally out of Gallatin, Tenn., signed agreements with Clemson, Florida State, Georgia and Tennessee before pledging to the Volunteers.

• No. 3-ranked running back Dalvin Cook of Miami signed with Miami, Florida State and Florida. He settled on FSU.

• Safety Laurence Jones of Monroe, La., rated No. 3 at his position, signed with LSU and Alabama. Jones then committed to the Crimson Tide.

Just read that the rules have changed yet again. Only the first school to get an agreement signed with a recruit can get unlimited communication with said recruit. A recruit can sign unlimited agreements now.

If you want the best example check out Josh Malone who signed four.

One more rule: they can't sign an agreement until August 1 of their senior year.

There is another factor as the Financial AID agreements are binding for the school so a school can't sign unlimited kids.

if he has graduated, no!

if he has graduated but has an iep and is under the age of 22 yes!

He could graduate and choose not to matriculate until summer session.

I can't see any of these games being the deciding factor. bama will be bama next year regardless and Washington had a **** of a year either way. Plus, only a complete dumbass would really make the decision based on the outcome of one game. Unless he picks us, then he's a genius. Not that there's anyone like that.
