Once again coach Golden shows that he gets it. He knows there is an issue on D but he's also cognizant of protocol in the coaching community. If he hires a DC and fires him 2 years later he'll likely look bad, especially given our defensive roster the past two seasons. This is how a pro handles things.

Golden will not fire or ask his DC to quit after 2 years considering the **** sandwich personnel and talent he inherited. **** get at least 1 to 2 more years.

No offense, those of you that think Golden is trying to pawn off D'Onfrio to get rid of him don't understand their relationship or philosophies.

Delusional Cane fans thinking these guys actually had decent D to coach for the last 2 years. Gotta be a bunch of Randy true believers holding on to the fantasy that the current staff inherited a salvageable product.

Coach D isnt going anywhere until he can be judged after having a D consisting of Div 1 talent for at least 2 years.

Dandy,
It may be something other than coach D not being competent. There's been more than a few noises about the kids & other defensive assistants not seeing eye to eye on things with coach D's tactics. Perhaps Miami is the dream job for Al Golden but UM might not be the right place for D'Nofrio. Just a thought.

Also, maybe Golden wanted D'Onofrio's help trying to right the ship at Miami. And maybe Golden sees that we're headed in the right direction, so he wants D'Onofrio to get his shot, and what better place than Temple?

These are my thoughts on it. You can get away with that kinda **** at Temple. But not UM (at least not with the defensive numbers we're putting up)

I want Coach D gone but it has nothing to do with his likability among the players

Temple's Rivals website does not list Corch Dorito as a candidate. Cristobal is, though

While I am undecided on Coach D's abilities, I don't think he had much to work with. I think the above is the tooth (Tim Watley Joke).

Go on. Give some of this insight you have.

Is there any real info out there that Coach D´oh is a candidate or is this all originated from a Temple message board? not gonna get too excited til someone other than some papaowl reports this.

this is AGs defense too. idk what we are gonna do...switch philosophies all together? again? they've been recruiting for that scheme too.
