12 hurries? Didn’t mesidor have almost that in one game?

Either way. Amazing pickup. Only possible way to soften the blow of losing our best DE duo ever is to load back up
wilson is really good, but we're about to see just how elite bain/messidor were ... no shade at all, just reality ... that being said our dtackle play has a chance to be super elite

Blount is kicking inside

Lowe is the dude who probably best fits that edge setting DE. If he has half the dog Bain had in him he’s gonna be at worst a 2nd team All ACC player dude looks the part
With Moten coming back, I see Scott Moten Blount and Wilson.
Lowe will spell Blount and Lightfoot with Wilson, and you can kick Blount inside on passing downs.

Just need one more rotational DT with the two above.

Interesting to see what's up.

I can see Heathermen drawing up some odd front with a jack backer at 9 on the strong side with Lightfoot and let him rop with Blount at Q as a 5 and Moten and Scoot at a 3 and 1 tech.

Our DL personelle leads to more of those looks, especially with big bodied downhill thumping LBs.

Our pass rush next year has the potential to be even better than it was this year. It will look very different with two speed rushers coming off of the edges, but I think it will be very effective with Wilson and Lightfoot leading the charge. Sprinkle in Lowe, Scroggins, Ashari getting so reps. Yea I think the defense is gonna be just fine.

I’m just not seeing Blount at DE… he was in the DT rotation all season and seems to embrace it. I think he’s your first guy off the bench DT for Scott or Moten.

But I will agree on heavier sets I can see him sliding to that 5 tech elephant whatever they call it to help set the edge while still having enough twitch to get upfield

Heathermen cheesing from ear to ear. Wilson, Omar and possibly more help on the way.
