It has been quite funny seeing several posters compare him to shazier. Not even close as an athlete. The gap in their foot speed alone should have put this comparison to bed a long long time ago.
The McCloud situation does come off like favoritism bc Owens was better than him with one good knee all season.

And Courtel Jenkins made it 3 months in Houston. I wish him luck but the proof is in the numbers, 5 kids since '13 have left Miami early and had any success. Either stick it out, head to FCS (2 of 5), or Rutgers (3 of 5)!
I may have missed 1 or 2 kids but the vast majority are out of football.
Tyre Brady had a pretty good season at Marshall, & Jerome Washington was actually the leading receiver at Rutgers. Oh and, Gus Edwards was the leading rusher at Rutgers...shhhhh, don't tell [MENTION=1396]blackvern[/MENTION]

Juwon Young had an ok season too, considering he sat out first 4 games but yea Brady balled. He was 1st team all conference even though he missed 3 games. Showed out in the bowl game too.
Richt has a 3 strike and your out rule. Saw it in an interview the other day from when he first started. Brady failed multiple drug test if I remember correctly.

Shazier is a kid that played DE in high school but was moved to LB at the next level.
Bonitto is a kid that played DE in high school but likely will be a LB at the next level.
You don't even know what different "skill sets" they have and that's irrelevant anyway.
WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THE TRANSITION FROM DE TO LB, not SKILL SETS.
Because Shazier was smaller and faster, the comparison doesn't hold weight? LOL. The ****?
Does that somehow change the transition process they're gonna go through?

How does their gap in athleticism make a difference? They're both transitioning from DE to LB. That's the subject at hand, not their different in athleticism. That's irrelevant.
Nobody is close to Shazier in terms of athleticism so I guess he can never be used for comparisons. SMH

Bruh,ive been clear why i say that but maybe its getting lost in transition. Im definitely of the opinion we need the depth at linebacker sooner rather than later(youve said ur not maybe thats all that matters to u.) His skillset hes coming to college with is very relevant because it helps him not only with wether or not hes able to make the transition period to the position but(for me) far more relevant how quickly hed be able to make the transition. Another wise how long it would be before hed be a game ready impact player at the position. My opinion bonitto is far more capable of playing in space than chatfield is but thats not relevant to the discussion.
Could've told me that the last time/post. How hard was that?

I'm assuming the kid has an LB skill set. And since I don't consider our current depth a problem, I'm not concerned whether he can contribute as soon as a guy who's more talented like Shazier.
