Runningback is a position I've been a bit disappointed with over the past couple of years in regard to recruiting.

Thus far into this class, a complete 180 from this staff. Cronkrite + Williams (assuming they both stick) is an incredible haul.

Joe friggin Yearby!!!! I know we missed a bunch of others but Joe is not a disappointment. Year before, ok, we got hurt losing Collins, but last year we got a great back. Ok, we didn't get 2 or 3 great backs, but nothing about Joe is disappointing. I'm sure you didn't intend that, but I want to make it clear.

Bring in Irvin and Quan and a QB and u can call this class a wrap

We still need stud inside defensive linemen. With have enough ends, we need more DT's and we need beasts. We finally got a couple this year who show promise, but that has been a whole for years. It doesn't get filled in one year. We need top DT's every year. Any good one will be gone in 3 so, replacement is mandatory. Plus we still don't know if we have even one that can play.

why would this kid make this kind of life changing mistake and play in an empty stadium and for a crap staff that will fail to improve him?

considering this is the consensus opinion of the bitter fanbase, the kid is a fool.

Needed your own snowflake comment?

Right now this running back class has to be considered an A+. Not only are these kids both studs, but no having to rely on Scarlett's diva *** at the end, assuming we can close (which is assuming a lot I know), is a relief.

Great pickup, hopefully he can get here for spring ball.

Welcome to the young man and Congrats to the staff. Great pickup.

Great to see that Cronk used his commitment to help build some momentum after the Bama coup the day before. Golden might have put pressure on him to come public, but at the end of the day it was probably his decision. I think we're still in good shape if we can land Timmy and Jaquan. I would take those two over the Monarch boys any day of the week. We would be good at $--we just have to look for some WR's.

Side note: take a moment to catch up on Emonee Spence. It looks like he's been working really hard. He starting to look physically impressive in the latest photos posted of him. He looks different than a few months ago. I like his natural ability and his attitude. He might end up being a better player than we think.

AMERICA..................................

Mazel Tov to the kid!

Cronkrite and Williams give us the best RB class we have had in a very long time.

we got the two Rb's i wanted the most. Maybe we add Patrick but i am happy.

I think if Patrick commits we 100% accept it. When a 4 star rb commits to you even if you've got your 2 for the class you take it because you can redshirt one and then only need 1 back the next class.

Plus, we have missed out on RBs the last couple of years, which necessitates accepting another commitment. This is especially true at RB, given the risk of injury, which we all know too well at UM.

- Obviously we still need to recruit SBB and Ridley till the end to try and flip them, gonna be real hard with Bama's bagmen involved, but who knows.

- We really need to put the full court press on WR/ATH Deon Cain from Tampa, and I also like ATH Ray Ray McCloud from that area, and we seem to be in good shape with him and his family.

- We are most likely only taking 2-3(most likely 2) WRs in this class and already have Spence committed.

- Ship has sailed with CB Fitzpatrick and I doubt we go after him hard anymore, but still have to go all out for QB Wimbush.

- Need to land 2-3 stud DTs in this class, we already have a solid pickup in Ryan Fines, but we should def try to land some better prospects at that position and have Fines be the worst of the group. If Fines is the best of the bunch, then we have a serious problem.

- Landing DE Scott Patchan was huge, and I expect only 1 more DE in this class.

- I fully expect to land S/CB Tim Irvin and S Jaquan Johnson, and believe that Clarington will round out our TE class with Bo Archibald giving us a top 3 TE class in the nation for sure.

- Once Jaquan comes on board we might have a real chance to flip CB Tyrek Cole, since he has said he would love to play in the same defensive backfield as Jaquan.

- I know we want 2-3 LBs in this class, Charles Perry IMO will def earn his 4th star and is an underrated guy for sure. I have a good feeling we will probably land Dominic Sheppard from Gulliver, and have a solid shot at Ben Humphreys(Cali 4 star LB who is close with Kaaya).

- Would love to get a commitment from CB Carlton Davis(should get his 4th star for sure) since we missed out on Fitzpatrick and Marcus Lewis.

- LMAO at both RB Jordan Scarlett and CB Rashard Causey for committing to FAU.

This class is coming together nicely, but it will fill up quick since we must take a smaller class then usual, lets just hope the right pieces fall into place.

Very well put post, I think we can go out on a positive note with this class, if we can land Clarington, Johnson, Irvin, Cole then I would be very happy. Also adding those 4 plus having a good season might convince SBB and Calvin that they need to come back home and represent their city like the rest of the South Florida high school studs.

Long way to go but if we get Irvin and Johnson soon then I think we are setting up for a domino effect finish.

Good stuff Tyrn,

Finish strong (Big Targets), my guess is 22 will come into the program in 2015....12-13 more players.

1 QB (Gibson, Wimbush)
2 WRs (Cain, Phillips, Peete)
1 TE (Clarrington)
2 DTs (McKenzie, Johnson, Wicker)
1 DE (McIntosh, Strowbridge)
2 LB (Sheppard, Coney, Humphreys, Kilby-Lane)
3-4 DB (Jackson, Irvin, Cole, Davis)

I would keep recruiting SBB till the end.

Clarrington
Johnson
Humphreys
Irvin
Cole

Even though I'm not a huge fan of his but I would expect Sheppard to follow if Tim and Johnson commit.
