respect for Weldon, here is a guy with great pedigree, jerks like me are rooting for Perry and Williams and he keeps working at it, I had it pegged as a perennial backup, the lesser qb in that recruiting cycle....yet, he shows up and its ready to play! Respect!

Weldon is what I like to hear.

Kids a monster. Glad he got it together because we going to need him this year and next

Great news all around. It's a bit of a relief to hear the 1st team O-line is getting the job done and I'm glad Weldon isn't going to back down from higher rated challengers. I wouldn't totally sleep on Polendy yet. Dude made some nice grabs during the spring game. He's not going to light it up but as a 2nd TE in 2 TE sets, he can be serviceable.

Always had a feeling Weldon would emerge as the future.

What exactly does that mean by having to cut practice short because we lack a TE? That sounds like a real problem. And it also sounds like someone is going to have to change positions. You simply have to have the right numbers to complete a practice properly. Wonder who it will be.

They been sleeping on cade! Somebody tell perry, WATCH OUT! And dont get caught slipping, this cade right here to the fullest:

Happy for Weldon but lets make sure this is legit first before the "Anti-Malik" brigade come screaming for him to be given a chance to take the starting job after a few compliments from the HC.... Kid hasn't seen live bullets yet. He will on Saturday knowing Richt as he seems like a HC that will make sure you aren't a flash in the pan.

Yes, because Rosier was so freaking outstanding when the bullets were flying last year.

I would love for Weldon or williams to earn the job in week 2. I want and accurate qb who doesn’t turn it over much

Hey, we all get caught up from time to time. Lets hope he keeps on working hard. It will make everyone step up.

I don't know anything about "film," but there were some obvious things that anybody could see that I liked. He kind of looked like that kid from West Virginia we played in the bowl game in terms of build and running style.
Throwing, I remember there was a pass on his Hudl where he threw it from the right hash, down field to the left. Reminded of the throw Brad made against App. State to Berrios at the sideline. Was a big time throw.
And then there was a play where Weldon runs for a big game and goes out of bounds and the defender kind of dove down out of bounds at his legs, and Weldon looked back at him like, "Do that again mother ******." Kid just seemed to have an alpha moxie to his game.

Can DJ play TE? JK. There should be some walk that we can insert there, but stopping practice ouch!

Good news about O-line, glad to se ethey're not still shuffling looking for the right combo.

You've been crying about Rosier the past 2 seasons.

And, yet, he's STILL the starting QB.

It's about time for you to just get over it, and support the kid.

Or, don't ... And go be a fan of UNC Charlotte. I think they may have a QB you'd like.

Coach Searels has alot on the line this year!

He needs to get this OL going because, im tired of these guys being the weakness of the team! I hope Gus helps the old man out; otherwise, it'll be apparent that maybe the game has passed him by...

I want a QB that can hit passes and keep the chains moving. I'm such a horrible person.

Polendey just needs to be serviceable as a 3rd TE and situational guy. Jordan and Mallory will be the guys against LSU.

Weldon is impressing a lot of people. The #2 race will be fun to watch on Saturday.

You're suggesting Polendy will be 3rd string by then? This smells of your QB predictions of the past. He is clearly in control of the strarting spot and the sensational freshman duo would have to make significant strides to unseat him.
