I wish the coaches would've moved Carter to LB and redshirted him last year.

We would've the most athletic lineup since the early Coker days (2000-2003):

DE G. Rousseau.
De Q. Roche
DT N. Silvera
DT J. Ford

LB Z. McCloud
LB A. Carter or S. Brooks

CB AL Blades
CB DJ Ivey
Striker G. Frierson
S G. Hall
S B. Bolden (Personally I would give him a shot at CB)
You are excluding one of the most athletic players on the team in jalen Phillips too

So put carter at striker where he will have to do something he sucks at?
No, the striker plays short zones.. and watches TEs easy to do. He would be near the LOS as I said. Not playing safety where he has to make a lot more open field tackles. Read it again, sir.

Striker also plays man coverage. Go watch more film sir. Striker has more coverage responsibilities than playing at the los. Look at the guys that have played or are at striker now. Finley, frierson, Smith are all more athletic and better in space than carter is.

Frierson got beat deep by a slot against Florida. Would’ve been worse if Amari was there. Amari can’t cover

Well of course. Just like linebackers have to play man sometimes against all types of guys, TEs, backs, slot guys. But they have help over the top a lot of times. It’s a glorified linebacker position is what I’m saying.

He didn't get beat deep, he released em to the area where the safety was suppose to be, and of course the safety was damyum near nowhere to be found. He was playing man underneath coverage.
And that safety who was suppose to be their was Carter lol

That’s only half true. Everything Carter is bad at is what strikers/rovers do the most of. You just seem to think that because he isn’t as deep as a safety his weaknesses are covered but it’s way easier to be a liability in coverage as a rover in today’s game than it is a safety. At safety of all else fails just don’t let anyone behind you.

Can anyone guess who the safety was? I like carter but the man isn’t a safety or a striker/rover in our scheme. he’s an undersized linebacker

Mentioned it in other thread but podcast with Manny Navarro, Kamren talks about DVD involvement from jump and how his dad had prior relationship from back in day and how he worked to get him a offer when no one knew him. I wont say more than they did but DVD put in work in this recruitment before he hit that spurt ot filled out, lol..

Kid is a worker and it gonna be awesome to see him ball for the city!

Coach banda putting in work, and this is a perfect example of why I keep telling people, you can't and don't beg True Miami guys, continues to show coach banda is a certified Miami guy, I said that a few years ago, once coach banda witnessed up close the True competitive Miami spirit in our communities, like he said, "now I understand why these guys dominated" any coach on staff that begs a recruit to come in needs to be dealt with, that's how you end up with crybabies and soft ****'s you can never count on:
