He is faster then the rooster and he doesn’t look like he has fumble issues either.

Let’s hope he is more of a natural runner. Rooster would run into the back of his lineman instead of naturally finding a hole to run through.

That’s one thing Parrish excels at. He naturally finds the smalls holes and cutback lanes.

Not every big run is because it’s a wide open gap to run through. We have lacked a Rb who actually finds space and makes runs based on skill. Our guys run right into the backs of our lineman more often than not

Elite speed. You'll always take that.

I don't have high hopes for him as a straight RB, but higher hopes as a Utility player. Type that can make big plays if used creatively (fingers crossed)

I don’t think this commitment is being valued as much as it should. This kid has NFL trait’s written all over him. My favorite RB that we’ve landed in years. Maybe since Walton.

Really? More than citizen and don Chaney and rooster? They were all rated significantly higher than CJ coming out of high school.

I like CJ and expect him to make lots of game changing plays here with the right OC... But all 3 of those guys were borderline top 100 national players.

Monday morning and really quiet after the weekend visits? Hopefully good news coming.

If there’s a plan for him and it’s executed, ya he’s gonna eat. Welcome to the U, Chris!

You feeling good about Fletcher? Fong just logged a crystal ball for the Gayturds for Fletcher. The Gators feel really good about landing him. I know that doesn't mean much and it seems they feel good about everyone. I know we have an official visit next weekend for him if it doesn't get cancelled.

This is CIS man recruits and potential recruits are always better than the players on the team

Knighton didn’t have the skills to be an every down back and it wasn’t just because he was a smaller guy. Johnson is very similar IMO. He’s a home run threat who’s best used as a change of pace guy. Hopefully he can be involved in the return game. If they try to just pound him between the tackles over and over, we’ll be disappointed. If they can find ways to actually get him the ball in space he can be a dangerous weapon.

I didn’t think they’d be able to close the gap because the offense has been so bad (since the summer really)

I was pretty adamant he wouldn’t come here. I was wrong.

These guys deserve a lot of credit for making it happen.
Post of the thread. We lose this one 99/100 the past 15 years. Things are different at least in the recruiting side of things

So....UF has a zillion HS kids on campus for OV's and nobody pops and outside of Fletcher, no 247 predictions to them coming out to the visit.

However, we go 1:1 with our official visitor, Chris Johnson.
