I question his ability to run between the tackles at the collegiate level

Thought the same thing with many of his HS highlights are of him bouncing it outside rather than running up the middle. But he did do it some on the film. He looks fast but not Chaney fast to me, seems like a perfect candidate for putting in the slot, against CB’s and/or LB’s, who he would absolutely smoke. Just don’t see him as a need at RB, not with Parrish and Knighton looking like better gets at this point.

agree with everything, but Holmes is definitely faster than Chaney, he is a pure speedster.

How many carries do we think any of our backs are taking up the middle?

Holmes has god-given speed. He is a homerun waiting to happen.

Need to stay on him.

I don't have a good feeling about this kid.

I find it interesting that he is now committing in Dec and not this spring. He said previously that he would commit in the spring of his junior year. Makes you wonder if he wants to see how some teams play in the fall and how the RB situation at each school plays out.
This is a kid who wore a Miami shirt and wristbands all season and to the State Championship.
He is ours to lose!
