He's overrated.

I actually agrer that he's overrated as ****. Yes, he's young and showed a lot of composure, but I just don't see a high ceiling with him. My problem is he can be hot, but also very cold. They will have to rely on his arm more this year, we'll see how he handles that. The fear od Georgia running all over you really opened up the passing game for him.

Regarding MJJ, I want this guy bad. We haven't ever had a guy as good as him with the ball in his hands and using his feet. Should his passing game catch up, he'll have the time to do so, he can become a very special QB for us down the road. The question is if he'll put in the work and have the patience to do develop as I don't see him getting out there early.

Maurer from Ocala is a better QB. By a lot. I'd still love to have MJJ as a WR/CB. He's a good athlete. QB? Idk man
Lol
Give me the guy who has a good arm and is dynamic with the ball in his hands with good size (mjj)

All the sites have been praising him how far he’s come in terms of throwing the ball in the last year alone. He’s progressing as a passer and is dynamic with the ball

Reminds me of Jarren Williams in that regards. Made huge improvements in his passing abilities throughout his senior season and got a huge boost in the rankings.

So the story today on TOS is MJJ is taking his second OV on June 22nd and it is to Florida State - a school NOT on his original list of 7 but who he says "is continually recruiting him hard". He roomed with FSU commit Sam Howell at the Elite 11 finals last weekend.

Hypothetically, if we whiff on a QB this year, 2019 looks like:

RFr/So Jarren Williams
RSo N'Kosi Perry
RSo Cade Weldon
Augie DeBiase

I would expect ONE of Perry/Weldon to move on if Williams gets the nod, so our depth chart would be:

Williams
Perry OR Weldon
DeBiase

Not terrible but not ideal (I like to have 3 scholarship QBs plus a walk-on for depth.) I think we need to take a QB this cycle.

He ain’t comin. And the staff just doesn’t see it.

But you, oh God-Sighted one with all your inside information, do see it. I assume he told you he wasn't coming during one of your daily teatime visits?

Why don't you do the team a solid and drop by to give Richt the bad news.

Start evaluating the kid from Ocala, invite him to Paradise.
