He had me at drug dealer and won me over when he said his dad was in prison,

I mentioned this guy in the USC really want. If only we had GT, Eddie and this guy. Every team would be afraid to play us.
I'm still holding out hope that EJ and GT will be back on this team come spring or summer of 2014.

Great work Pete.

Is that possible? someone contact GT and Eddie.

This is the kind of kid that the Miami program was built on. Great talents that had to overcome so much, and are just all heart. The kind of kid that doesn't need to be around a snake oil salesman like Kiffin or Muschamp, but would benefit from the FAMILY that the Miami program is, the great environment in Coral Gables, the alumni, the NFL players that come back, and of course the staff, led by Golden who truly care about each and every kid. I hope he comes. Sounds like he was born to be a Cane.

I hope the best for this kid no matter where he ends up. It's great to see him overcome his situation. Either way he can't go wrong with USC or Miami when it comes to education. But please come here Mike.

This guy comes, we got ourselves a new TDK.

Give him the mask.

6'4 340??? Lmao holy ****. Him and travonte valentine beside each other would be scary..how many Stars is he?

U got valentine playing end?

Joe Gibbs, the former Redskin coach, when asked in the early '80's why he didn't employ the 3-4, which was becoming the rage, said you essentially needed "three tackles." As I remember back then, the Redskins, who were Superbowl contenders, were strictly a 4-3 team. I can't remember three tackles on that team. I can't see this kid playing end in a 3-4, but I could see Valentine playing end.

Now some of you guys might refine this and discuss this in terms of which "technique" each position would be, but a DE in a 3-4 is not the same as a DE in a 4-3. That's where I think the Dolphins of that era went wrong, they tried to make Kim Bokamper, a pure end in a 4-3, a DE in a 3-4. He was overpowered in that SuperBowl by Joe Jacobi.

A great recovery from bowels of ****, Mike. May you do well in the rest of your life. I do not think there is a better place for you than THE U. All you need to see is the photo of Golden laying on the turf with Malcom Lewis last year holding each other in their arms to know he is what the Cane family is about. Golden will make you a 1st round draft pick and be a father to you in the process--if you follow his process. We want you in our family, but best of luck and may the Lord be with you whatever you decide.

Pete, another great article.
