His position group’s play was absolutely pathetic whether it was filling the same gap as DTs or over running the play; getting absolutely washed; if you lost in coverage just blitz was his philosophy I’m assuming. I don’t get how he was hired. Thank goodness he’s gone.

IMHO, his upside is best at 3-4 OLB as a Jack rusher.
But, he can play as a Sam Backer in a 4-3.
He’s not a hand in the dirt DE though, he’s just the same size a Cyrus Moss.

?I agree with Liberty , his upside would be 3/4 olb but the little film I’ve watched I see a Swiss Army knife. 4-3 Sam is very much doable. Long , athletic cats is always a positive.

I don't know if this is what you are alluding to, but another UCLA defender (DL) just entered the Portal. UCLA's THIRTEENTH defense-side player to enter the Portal.

Like...I feel like I could go into a linebacker conference with a University of Miami jersey on with my starters being Caleb Johnson and Keontra Smith/Steed before giving way to Bissainthe without being embarrassed like I could without Johnson. It gets us to bare minimum acceptable.
