Personally, out of one of Bush or Burns being a safety, I prefer Burns at Safety and Bush at CB

I've given up hope that Bush will play corner, even though it's his best position.. There is just nobody at safety. From what I've seen and heard, Jenkins's heart is at receiver and that is where he'll ultimately end up.

This stinks. Having to shoehorn a potentially elite CB into a safety. Jenkins preferring to play WR. Artie Burns possibly ending up at CB. Even Carter with his injuries and grades. Best FL pure safeties in McQuay and Marcell Harris not interested.

Pretty soon we'll be inserting walk-ons. Really inexplicable, a program like Miami having major problems at a position like safety. Reminds me a lot of Shammin and his crappy CB recruitment.

Vaughn is gone after this year.
Rodgers and Highsmith will be gone after next year (ironically both are converted high school CB/QB).
We have literally no pure safety behind them.

Holy hyperbole Batman. If having to shoehorn guys like Jenkins, Burns, & Bush is the biggest problem with our secondary, then I'll take that problem all day.

This.

I'm sure Bush could be a stud CB (and he still might be), but he could turn out to be a stud Safety, too.

We loaded up at CB last year. I want an elite athlete like Bush roaming centerfield.

The more I watch his clips from MNW and the Opening, the more I see corner in his future.

We didn't sign a big corner last year and Burns fits the bill perfectly.

I think he's more of a CB, too. He has the potential to be lockdown.

Could LSU come in and steal him away later.

Just talked to an LSU source... He said that LSU was recruiting Burns until they started pushing hard for Rashard Robinson. LSU wanted a true corner and feels like Robinson fills that need more than Burns. He also said the track coach at LSU was using football as a pitch with Burns. So in short, unless something changes, Burns wouldn't be able to commit there if he wanted to.

Thanks Pete, appreciate the hard work.

Yes we will certainly be playin walk ons at safety. We would never think about throwing a couple corners back there first. That would be silly.

"LSU was my dream school, but I'm gonna give up my dream and play for Miami"..........this kid won't stick.

Actually...he followed that up with he likes the direction the program is going and wants to be part of it. He thinks all SoFla kids should stay at home and play for Miami...all he was saying is that he was an LSU fan...now he is being loyal to his home.
