Yep. Bottom line they just need to move on from Fields.
When Joe Flacco comes in after sitting in his lawn chair drinking beer for months and outplays you by a mile, it truly shows how terrible he really is.

I tried to warn my guy @confidence about how this movie ends lol.
Out of HS I told them. But he went to OsU where those qbs flourish with them out talenting that entire conference. He couldn’t do that at UGA imo to much competition there in the sec he would have gotten exposed. He sees things to late and that’s a recipe for disaster. OSU qbs beside CJ were hot cheeks

TS took heat for a lot of stuff that wasn’t him. Safeties free lancing .
Man actually ran down a few guys that were safety blown coverages. That is when I knew he had the wheels to play on Sunday

cause they only saw him chasing without looking at who was missing the assignment. Heck, most haven’t played or coached. They only watch the kid with the ball and those closest to them.

Kam and J Will improved a lot this year yet still cost us games. They also helped us win games both years but a safety shouldn’t cost you games.

So do Bears fans think Fields is the problem or is it the playcalling and surrounding talent)

I'd say its a combination of all three, but Fields is the smallest one.

Over the past three years, outside of Mac Jones, Fields is the one who got the worst coaching altogether (Urban Meyer > Matt Patricia, I don't make the rules). The Bears are a ****show with no direction. It never felt like the offense was geared towards Fields, and it still doesn't.

The few times Chicago constructed a gameplan for him, he balled out. I remember my Patriots playing against them last year on MNF expecting our defense to perform a dominant performance and he hung 33 on our ***.

Hardest thing about being a Bears fan right now is I think the majority of us almost don’t care anymore lol. This debate is exhausting and we’re ready to be done with it. Each person can point to a different play that will have you believe in him or not believe in him. He misses open throws. He extends some miraculous plays. Our coaches call 3 screens in a row. Pick your poison. We’ve came at this from so many angles none of us even know anymore.

Same here. Patriots fanbase isn't there yet, we are still in certain groups.

1. The ones who say that Mac deserves another chance because he has been mishandled.

2. The ones who fire Bill.

3. The ones who want to keep Bill.

4. The ones who want everyone to leave and completely nuke and reset the entire structure.

I belong to 4th. And we're the minority.

I hear you. Still think I’ll always fear what a Patriots D under Bill can do.

I like what Poles has done for us as a GM, so I’m honestly just ready to ride with whatever move he makes. Either keeping Fields and grabbing more talent around him or moving on. Either way I think we need to get a new OC. Somehow our players are really vocally supportive of Eberflus as a HC and his D has played some real good ball the second half of the year (still choking away the end of games), so it’ll be interesting to see what we do there. Should be a fun off-season

You know, its amazing how we have one of the better defenses in the league with the amount of injuries we have. We have no cornerbacks anymore, our best pass rusher is out and everyone is playing under the knowledge that they have to play perfect in order to have a shot at winning.

The problem with Bill is not his coaching. Its his philosophy of a football team and his drafting. Our defense is set up to stop modern offenses, but our offense isn't set up to beat modern defenses. And his selection of players... he drafted NKeal Harry over AJ Brown and Deebo Samuel against his scouts recommendation to the point where they loudly disagreed with him because he had a good relationship with Herm Edwards. Which leads to him only selecting coaches and coordinators that have a relationship with him. It's frustrating and it can't work.
