Looks really good to me. He catches a lot of flack on here for being overrated, but he can't help what he's rated. I get it, he may not Chris Henry, but you make room for him no matter what, kid is super talented.

Russell has to see that cuse is a paper tiger with no real chance to go far each year. He also needs to pick a sport as the days of Bo, Deon… are over. I’m ok with him playing both for a year but pick your revenue and make it happen
Im on the fans side that you dnt over pay for this kid. Never seen a 5star that so many had mixed emotions on his game. Im not paying 5star rates on him.
Yeah in today's game obviously funds allocation is the big factor, but if it's reasonable…Ya take Russell all day.
Maybe Fran leaves or realizes spreading out the NIL helps with wins.
Its not about whether he deserves a scholarship. It's about him being overrated inflating his NIL potential and demands. Just not worth it from that perspective, especially when his teammate is likely better, and we REALLY need to add two 5star Dlineman and a top S ideally. That'll be expensive.

I don't know the guy, but he strikes me as an "anywhere but Miami" guy. I could be (and hope to be) wrong, but I don't think this result will sway him at all.

Eh, it's easy to spin. Fran can sell Russell on Angelii coming back next year and how with him, the Orange are a really good offense.
Put it like this is Russell that much of a difference maker more than Paris is? To be wanting I'd assume significantly more money given Paris is currently an Iowa St commit?
I think it's simple take the difference in money, get Paris, then add that to securing a top DLineman.
Do the same thing at RB, take Derek Coopers money and get the IMG kid instead, and that money could legit probably be the difference in securing a second top DLineman AND a safety like Fitzpatrick or the Gorman kid.
Like absolutely nobody would be demanding we overpay for Cooper and Russell if they weren't local recruits, it's that simple. Given they've shown they have been looking for about any reason to go elsewhere - Especially Cooper!

I agree but I do wonder if Mario is willing to pay a premium to keep certain kids "home".
