“You put men in the box, and if they get to him, he’s going to break tackles,” said FCAHS coach Bo Russum. “He’s so elusive.

“On film it doesn’t show up as much as it does when you see him in person, how elusive he is, how it doesn’t take much of a hole for him to hit and be there at the next level. There’s a reason he’s got 10,000 offers from Power 5 programs. He’s that good.”

Mannnn if you go watch The Film Guy Networks breakdown on the top returning RB’s, you can see why Fletcher came back to school. Love him tho but he has another level to reach

In all fairness he made a big stride towards the end of last year
Some of the clips shown were from the playoff run, which is nitpicking because he ran like 100+ every game. But some were like Trent Richardson type abandonment of open holes lmao now I’m thinking about it probably is for sure nitpicking, you’re not going to make every perfect read as a RB.

He is a very good college back that was allowed to flourish late in the season when our play calling got less predictable and allowed other teams not to stack the box when we were telegraphing run. He had a playoff run that will go down in Miami lore. Id argue that Dawson not Fletcher left yards on the field against 8-4. We heard all week that their swarming defense weakness was that they couldnt handle smash mouth football. He should have gotten 30 carries instead of 17 that game and it isnt close.

Probably made some good points too…I mean until like November of last year many of us constantly complained about his lack of vision and patience. In all fairness it seems like the kid hit another level when we went more pistol.

If I’m comping him to a Miami back, he is a bigger, much more athletic, wealthy man’s version of Henry Parrish.
But how does Parrish compare to Fletcher. I kid.

Good comp, hes definately a better athlete. To be fair Parrish had quite good vision/ feel as a back and his better in that regard than Keys at this stage.

Keys has good feel as a runner IMO. It’s hard to run for 3,285 yards and 45 TDs at any level.

We will see what where they stand when their careers are over but I think Keys is a better prospect than Fletcher albeit different coming out of HS. I know I will catch a ton of **** for this…
They aren't even close to the same type of player. I also disagree with Keys being a better prospect than Fletcher. That's objectively false based on ratings and by the teams fighting for Fletcher.
