He followed a bonafide 5 star every snap with no help & no pass rush.
He gave up 53 yards & a highly contested TD...... I promise you wont see another DB or team play him 1v1
I think it's fair to say the coaches and the fans want your son to stay and play for Miami, but the money needs to make sense for both parties. In terms of the Miami side of the equation, the money isn't about just one player but how that dollar amount potentially affects the rest of the room and roster.
Let the bidding war begin. The good part is before Mario this young man would've already been committed to Bama, Oregon, or Taint. To get #6 we need to keep these players home. These kids can be hometown heroes like Mali, cause the whole city seems to be enthralled with Malimania.
I’ve said I want him in the class. We do agree on him covering a 5star. You also do raise a good point that it is a team game and at Miami the DL helps him look that much better.

But Brady has handled their breakup so much better that it feels that way now.
I don’t normally go with the “just pay him whatever” mentality because I’m not a huge contributor to NIL and I know the others who scream just pay him usually don’t contribute much if anything but in this instance I’m onboard with matching whatever offer is out there. This is one chance to finally keep a Pat Peterson, Pat Surtain type home so let’s do it.
If they didn’t have Brady I do think they may have won a SB or two the early part of his tenure. After the undefeated season most of their winning can be attributed to Brady and the absolutely absurd contracts he signed allowing Belichick to sign FAs and compensate for the ****** drafting he did after that.

Boy, this upcoming spring practice is going to be one to watch in that CB room. We literally bring back our top 4 CBs, in addition to Jaboree and Ewald + this huge class that I just assume the majority of them will enroll early. I imagine some of those guys get some work at Nickel, believe Ewald already has and maybe even a look or 2 at S. Regardless, insane depth here which is great at CB but in this era I don’t see how 1 guy if not more doesn’t leave. I just hope it isn’t Jaboree.

And that is why I knew he would fail. Imagine getting carried by TB winning all those titles. Imagine what that does for an ego and then you have to kiss teenagers ***’s…….he won’t do that.
