2015 RB Cronkrite Unsure of Miami Commitment

With 3 running backs currently sitting in the Miami Hurricanes 2015 recruiting class, 2015 Westminster (Fla.) running back Jordan Cronkrite wouldn’t label himself as a solid commit.

“I gotta meet with the coaches to talk about some things, talk about the future and what’s going to happen.”

The 5’11 196 pound running back has been in contact with other schools including South Carolina, West Virginia and Florida.

Cronkrite is looking forward to speaking with the coaches and is looking for his questions regarding the other running backs in the class to be answered.

“Just to see what they’re going to do with running back situation and just see what happens from there.”

The Westminster product has no visits set up until during the season where he will be able to catch a couple Hurricane games.

Cronkrite, like many, was surprised with the recent news of Hurlie Browns switch to Linebackers coach and Ice Harris move as the new Running Backs coach. Cronkrite is familiar with Harris’ reputation at the high school level.

“I met him when I went to the school one time, he clearly knows what he’s talking about and he knows how to win. I don’t know much about him besides what he did at Booker T.”

*Will not be attending U Day due to a school function.

All this crap from news that the kid wants to take OVs?

Ask yourself this: if you were a highly touted football recruit, would you want to travel around the country being wined and dined for free? Come on...

I still want Conk as a Cane, but if his feelings are hurt because we ended up getting a kid we didn't expect to get and another RB may be re-classifying oh well.

We have JS, DW, and MW(hopefully) and a stable of backs already on campus. I think will be ok if he walks.

Ive been saying this forever, party with college folk and smash some women which you know they do but somehow nobody thinks kids ever take free trips

So Token, does the "trust issue" stem from the number of running backs we have committed, Ice being elevated to rb coach, or is there something else? And does he feel that other schools don't do the same things? Really, the only thing a recruit can ask for is the opportunity to compete. He will have that here, but it sounds like he wants more.

Yes, clearly Duke's development has been stymied by the staff.

Some player's even Larry Coker could not **** up, just saying, Duke was gonna be Duke wherever he went. Its about taking projects, which the 2012 class was filled with and making something out of them. The first three years of this regime, and its easy to stand by the statement I made, just is what it is.....

I know, I would've expected Porter, Cornelius, Gaines, Robinson, KC and Highsmith to all be drafted in the first round under another coach.

I like this kid's talent. Seems like his coach should have to change his last name; another hurt feelings dude. I want JC in this class, but kid can go where he likes. All the drama is getting old. I do have a question. If Token is so close to him and can relate the inter workings of the process in such detail, why can't our favorite poster, Shaq's dad? Maybe Token, who's post I always appreciate should be told to shut up too!

Everyone knew he was TRYING to. If he does that make Cronkrite the third RB to commit to the class of 2015. Are you saying that since Jordan committed after Cronkrite we should tell Jordan we don't want his commitment? What happens if (god forbid) one of the current 3 bail at last minute and Walton doesn't reclassify? Everyone sits around and ******* that we should have all of them.

So miami doesn't develop RBs? Mike James? Miller? Duke? **** even Crawford came in and did his thing…how that is even a valid claim is beyond me. Sounds more like a guy throwing $**t on the wall and hoping something sticks to get a kid to seek shelter elsewhere. What RB has Meyer developed at Utah, UF and OSU?

Are you serious? Trying? You think Golden was telling him "we have one guy commuted and one guy trying to reclassify" no knowing the salesman he is he said something like "hey we are looking for two backs in this class and taking in 1 or two next year" you guys are fools if you believe Cronkrite knows the ins and outs of mark Walton's recruitment. Golden tells these guys what they want to hear had guys like terry McCray saying he could have some early play time. And as we can see he is well on his way to a redshirt season

Golden's job:

Golden wouldn't be doing his job if he wasn't trying to upgrade the roster every single day. If you can get a guy like Scarlett, you take him 10 out of 10 times.

This "trust" **** is the new mantra with the leeches and S. FL shytheads who try to brainwash kids into going somewhere else usually for their own benefit. "Trust" is the new shythead buzzword because it can be used to pollute young minds with its insidious undertones.
