OSU may be done at RB. Not sure if he has a commitable offer. I know they're waiting on that kid I think his last name is Harris?

His offer from OSU is commitable and they have said they would take him as a second RB this class. This interview was given before Cronkrite left for a school event and Cronkrite and his family talked and agreed that OSU isnt the best fit so why waste an OV on them.

IF he isnt a Cane its because he doesnt believe what the staff is telling him, not because of competition.

Do you think that his doubt at least right now is because of friends or is it just himself because I never have thought he was afraid

The doubt that you brought up Im assuming has to do with trust in the staff and what I can tell you much of it comes from his head coach who does have some influence on him because they are together just about everyday and he is looking out for Jordans best interest and at the same time is not a fan of this staff. Other than his head coach its only his parents involved in this process and they are growing wary of the staff as well. These are the only people that Jordan trusts in this situation.

All of the opposing coaches, friends and others who are down talking the school doesnt effect him very much because he knows many of them have an alterior motive and not his best interest.

Sedrick Irvin is not a fan of the current regime?

He didnt care for the way they first started to recruit Jordan all the way through now. Anyone that has had a conversation with Sed about Jordan will tell you Sed thinks the world of him and has let it be known that Jordan is a kid that will make it and thats why he wants him to go to a place where he will get developed and play. He isnt saying that cant happen at Miami but the staff hasnt made Sed think Jordan will get as fair of a chance as some of these kids from bigger schools in south Florida that produce takent year in and out.

Oh I see, one more question do you think that the trust took a hit from the DW commit? I ask because they seem like the same back in a sense with (just my opinion) Dexter being better so do the coaches and parents think that he's the guy instead of JC?

All i know is this team is going to be oozing with talent at that position for the next few years

Joe yearby
Trayone gray
Jordan Scarlett
Dexter Williams
Mark Walton
Jordan Cronkite

And the general of the brigade Tim Ice Harris I just dont see more than maybe one of these guys leaving if any.

Miami should always be loaded at RB, WR, CB, S, KR, and PR regardless of who the CEO is.

**** add ol and te with that

That hasnt been the case in so long id agree but i need to see it to believe it.

Lol, the dreaded trust excuse again

That can't be the case because Dexter Williams committed before Cronkrite did, so that shouldn't have affected any trust level. Perhaps their continued pursuit of Scarlett had an impact, but the Williams commitment shouldn't have had anything to do with it. Williams was actually the first RB to commit in this class, not including Walton since he's a 2016 recruit until there's further clarification regarding his attempt to reclassify.

And I disagree about Williams and Cronkrite being similar style backs, but that's just me.

Man its been too easy for kids not to come here and it has nothing to do with trust.

A new poster ..but having followed Miami football since 83... Miami is about competition.. if j.c. is as good as he think he is come in and beat Jordan Scarlett, mask Walton, Dexter...if not go on your marry way ..maybe am old school but that how Miami been built

My bad I actually lost track that Dexter was first but what I mean is that it just looks like since there was the worry that Dexter would flip that (maybe it's just me but) the coaches were going all out to keep him while obviously one of the rbs would get less contact and maybe it was Cronk. Now, with that said I think that JC and DW ar similar as dual threats and potential return men so even though one is better both would have similar roles. Is JC afraid? I still say no but people close to him if they feel a certain way you have to expect the kid to listen

Before Jordan committed the staff told him they were only taking 2 rbs. DW committed and i guess he wanted a spot and jumped for it. there are now 4 rbs committed i wouldnt trust golden either.

Just looking from the outside in you have Scarlett- best friends with a top commit from next class and is at STA DW-A beast in his own right Walton- the new rb coach is his old high school coach and a big time pipeline is booker t

All and all (If walton stays apart of the 2016 class) nobody can complain about getting DW and scarlett. coupled with Gus, Joe, & gray our biggest flaws will not be at rb

Token,

I'd stop talking about Cronkrite's recruitment. It isn't going over very well IMO.

If all the info you are posting is true, I don't expect Cronk in this class. Seems like those close to him are steering him in a different direction. Especially the part about him not getting a fair shot.

Guess this doesn't bode well for Tim Irvin either.

All these HS coaches down here steering kids away from Miami, its pretty ridiculous.

I just try and shed some light on the situation and tell what is the truth and whats just story and people can take it either way they want it.

All coaches do this kind of stuff

Let me tell you. Not gonna talk crap. Not saying about any recruit at all. But for the majority that grew up Canes and ended up elsewhere. When Miami makes it back, their gonna bite their tongue and say ****, I wanna be a part of that.

That was the same feeling Antonio Bryant had, when we beat down Pitt. He had great career there but you could tell he wanted to be here at that time. He grew up Cane.

Stick with the home town team and bring em back is what I say to recruits that don't want to join along. Theirs momentum around the program.

I like Cronk. Always have, loved his tape. Everything and I hope he sticks and becomes a part of the turn around. He can be a key contributor towards the future. I hope for the best. And I know he loves the U too from what's been said before. Hope he makes that right choice.

Token thx for sharing and keep the info flowing.

Go Canes

This may sound bad, but if we snag Scarlett and Williams, I don't really care what else happens at RB. In fact, I'd prefer that we use the scholly elsewhere.

We need to just keep it like this, hope we keep JC because he's a stud and hope Scarlett and Williams stays like I expect which will give us the best rb group in the 2015 class no matter what

Sedrick is still hating on UM because UM didn't want him coming out of HS. So if he's brainwashed Cronkite into not trusting UM, then he should just decommit and move on.

You can't go somewhere you don't trust no matter how baseless your lack of trust is. It'll never work out, and it'll never change. If he doesn't trust them before ever putting a helmet on, then it's never going to work out. Time to move on and quit dragging on the drama.
