Not enough for The Work and not necessarily a ton of new info, but I got more confirmation on a few things today -

**Lamont Gaillard will be here this weekend and Miami feels like he is flippable.

**Good chance Scarborough makes it for the official visit this upcoming weekend. No guarantees, but his unofficial was not just a get-away.

**Still no worries about Demetrius Jackson from Miami's side.

**Kaaya has given Miami no indications that he won't be at Miami.

**Almost not worth mentioning Valentine to Miami fans at this point...LSU

**Trending up with JC Jackson.

**Miami believes that Chad Thomas will stick, but look for them to turn up the heat in the coming days. They know that the FSU visit made an impression on him.

**As of right now, it looks like Lenius will be a part of this class.

**Miami is very much in it for Ross. Don't know if they lead, but his interest is extremely real especially after last weekend.

**They aren't recruiting any "back-up plan" types at this stage. The only prospects they are legitimately talking to are legit Miami kids.

Fishbein thinks Thomas sticks with Miami and is confident Miami can get Valentine back on NSD.

Not on the same level as Cook, WTF? Rivals and ESPN have Bo higher while Scout and 247 have Cook higher. You may think Cook is better but they're unquestionably on the same level. Not to mention Bo is exactly the type of bruiser that we need. He complements Duke and Yearby much better than DC would've. A RB class of Yearby and Bo is easily the best in the nation and considerably better than Cook & Vickers.

Cook can break one on any play. That is something very, very few RBs can do. Scarborough is a bruiser. A great one.

But I'd take Cook all day.

Apples to oranges. Two different styles , Bo is just more complete, far from just a bruiser . Kid plays wr just as good as rb , special talent.

He could legitimately be a really good player at TE, Lb , Wr, Rb or DE. Just look at his frame , no ceiling for this cat.

Imma have to agree with the "bo" guys. if cook is sooooooo good why couldnt he start over yearby?? True he might have a bit more upside but he is not polished. and like they said is more of a one cut Lamar Miller which doesnt make you a great running back. But hey i guess we can agree to disagree we shall let it be settled on the field!!!

My favorite comment from Pete's update is no Plan B's! That has me feeling good as there is a lot of talent considering us and its time to get some positive upward program momentum leading up to next season's tip off.

Many on this board won't be able to process the good news. Many too busy hoping for the failure they foretold, that supports their theory that Golden is a total failure (i.e. "Dumpster Fire") or that bleak visions was right after all.

For all our sakes as well as those already lucky enough to Canes players I hope Golden and staff close strong.

Didnt i read a post earlier where someone asked about Travonte and got a response along the lines of "we're done with 2014 kids, on to 2015." Or was that just in regards to questioning? Because theyd better not just let Valentine go without a fight, but most importantly not to turn down the heat on Chad. Ill fuggin **** if he winds up a nole.

He has a lot of contacts in south florida and also with FSU so what he says is usually good info, but its recruiting and you never know what will happen.

That post was referring to when Travonte's coach was questioned, not Miami's staff

Considering our in state rival won the NC you gotta look at our 2014 recruiting class and be amazed by the talent coming in. Local kids and oos gamechangers all about Da U!!
