Not enough for The Work and not necessarily a ton of new info, but I got more confirmation on a few things today -

**Lamont Gaillard will be here this weekend and Miami feels like he is flippable.

**Good chance Scarborough makes it for the official visit this upcoming weekend. No guarantees, but his unofficial was not just a get-away.

**Still no worries about Demetrius Jackson from Miami's side.

**Kaaya has given Miami no indications that he won't be at Miami.

**Almost not worth mentioning Valentine to Miami fans at this point...LSU

**Trending up with JC Jackson.

**Miami believes that Chad Thomas will stick, but look for them to turn up the heat in the coming days. They know that the FSU visit made an impression on him.

**As of right now, it looks like Lenius will be a part of this class.

**Miami is very much in it for Ross. Don't know if they lead, but his interest is extremely real especially after last weekend.

**They aren't recruiting any "back-up plan" types at this stage. The only prospects they are legitimately talking to are legit Miami kids.

Kind of going overboard there a bit arent you? Gaillard is a 4 star top DT STUD with offers from Bama, Auburn, UGA, UF, FSU, ND, and pretty much every top program. So is Moten. If we closed with those two, plus Jenkins and the JUCOs, that would be an EPIC DL class. Id obviously prefer TV, but that $hip has sailed IMO. I would be pretty content with Gaillard as a replacement.

I'm very much aware of the type of prospect that Gaillard is, but I don't think he's at the same level of Valentine (and I don't think he comes here).

On top of that, Valentine was committed to us for a good amount of time and he goes to school less than an hour away from campus. For us to lose him to a school located over 900 miles away is inexcusable. We have already seen this happen to us once before with L$U (PP) and it just goes to show how much trouble we're actually having getting local kids to stay home and go to UM.

I'm just tired of these local kids thinking that by coming to UM they would just be "settling". We need to change the way we are perceived in the South Florida community.

That's all a by product of not winning enough games. Start winning and more recruits will stay home.

from what i understand his parents want miami, his uncle wants uf.....I guess we will find out soon who jc wants.....jc decommitted from the noles already.

Not on the same level as Cook, WTF? Rivals and ESPN have Bo higher while Scout and 247 have Cook higher. You may think Cook is better but they're unquestionably on the same level. Not to mention Bo is exactly the type of bruiser that we need. He complements Duke and Yearby much better than DC would've. A RB class of Yearby and Bo is easily the best in the nation and considerably better than Cook & Vickers.

I have been a BIG Cook fan since his soph. year when he rocked the 23 on the bench and would come in get a carry and strike up the band.

Saw this Bo kid by chance against Pace, now it was only one time and I have seen Cook plenty. I dont know who is better but that kid Bo is second to no one from what I saw. Kid is a straight beast.

*will also add, I wont even worry about that kid until his LOI comes in. Not even worth the time. Kid committed from bama to bama, comeon man...
