Yeah I’d rather start scaife at left tackle and possibly work Nelson into the game on certain drives depending how it goes in game 1
Who next up at RT in that scenario if Scaife moving over ?

Okay cause for me it's none of the other candidates have real game experience either so and I'm sure the coaches didn't think Nelson would be the guy when he first got on campus so I think he had to perform far above everyone else to be in the position he's in. My guess is he's our best option even if he has some growing pains
I'm not sure if he's outright our best option at LT so much as he combines with Scaife to give us a better LT/RT duo than whatever Scaife/otherguy provide. Again, would be really freakin helpful if Campbell or one of the others show up this fall and shock us all.

I don't agree with that a FB isn't going to really change the OL issues he's meant to get to the second and pick up LBs not take on DTs getting through the line. Florida uses spacing to compensate for the OL issues so there's less hats in the box and in turn less possibilities for a multiple guys coming free. Think the key for Miami will be tackling/angles in those light boxes cause u miss one and now it could be a problem
Realus should be able to help clear space and chip on short yardage downs when we need a first down. Think about how many times we got stuffed last year on third and short.

That's what I mean I think Scaife and Nelson are probably our best option at tackle and also think it's a higher possibility Nelson keeps improving a ton than others that have been in college for longer although it would be great if they did and a very pleasant surprise

One matchup maybe being underestimated is Mullen on offensive planning vs Diaz'/Baker's planning. Both should be very familiar with each other's styles and tendencies from their prior experience working with each other at MSU.

Someone explain to me how the total is 50.5? Two solid defenses and below average offenses.

Nothing groundbreaking here as I didn't start to do a deep dive yet, but protecting the ball and having a competent special teams unit (punter) are our keys to winning the game.

Give me +7.5 & under 50.5. And some sort of ML parlay.

One thing that worries me is their style of blocking, they pull guards like crazy and create havoc on the OL our DL gotta be ready for that, if we can keep their running game at bay we will win the game

Agreed. With that line they’re predicting 29-21.5. That’s a lot of points for our defense to give up, especially if we’re not going 3& out with a 30 yard punt consistently on offense.
