Because that only includes the win-loss records of the team from the previous year where an ACC going a 8-5 and a SEC team going 8-5 are not even on the same level of football. Also, last year is irrelevant to this year.

Your list doesn't have West Virginia, who has played 3 top 5 team in the lead. There alone it loses all credibility.

Except that's not the only part of the formula, you silly goose. That statistic shows it based with the home advantage. And it also lists it at 23, not 20. Once again, I'm noticing you struggle with number recognition.

That #23 ranking is based off the same flawed stat in the previous ranking based off of the previous year record. The stats on the far right of golden mean, predictor, and elo score are what are calculating the #38. You do understand that now, correct?

And by what you say we've played a tougher schedule than TCU who has played two top 5 teams thus far. I forgive, sugar muffin. Now go back to that coal mine.

If you really want to break it down, just use the eye test. We have not played the #23 toughest schedule in the country.
